The Cottage at Twin Oaks was a great choice for my wife and I. The cottage had every amenity that we needed plus more. It is in a perfect location. We had the entire property to ourselves. The owners made us feel right at home. We take an annual trip to the wine country. We have never enjoyed any other trip to Sonoma as much as we enjoyed this one. The Cottage at Twin Oaks played a huge part in that.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Stayed Sept. 3 thru Sept. 8 and it wasn't long enough! It was everything you represented and so much more. The personal touches made it feel like home and the little special extras were such a wonderful surprise. We loved the cottage itself and the hot tub was a perfect ending every night with a great bottle of wine! The entie property was just beautiful. Loved the vineyard, the orchard, and the garden! The fresh veggies from the garden made wonderful omelets for breakfast too! We felt like family right from the start and we so appreciated the accessibilty of the owners/hosts, yet we still had our privacy. This was our first visit to California so we were a little nervous about getting around but this was such a great location to get anywhere we wanted to go to yet it was still private and peaceful for the one evening that we did choose to stay in and grill out on the deck! The recommendations on restaurants and winerys in the area were also very much appreciated. We loved Hopmunks for dinner and Cline Cellars for some incredible wine! The maps, guides, coupons, and books in the Cottage were also a great touch for either "newbies" to the area like us or even those who've been there before. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We're planning to make this an annual trip and your wonderful cottage is the only place we'll ever stay. When you've found perfection why even look further. We would recommend the Cottage at Twin Oaks to anyone looking to explore wine country, have a romantic get away, or just looking for peace and quiet rest. Your accommodations would really fit the bill for anyone looking for a great place to stay. Can't wait to return next year and this time it will be longer than our 5 day stay! Thank you for all you did to make this a great first time visit to wine country and we'll see you next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Stayed 4/18/11 to 4/23/11. Great location, minutes to Sonoma. Easy driving to visit Dry Creek, Russian River and other areas. Wanted quiet location where we could prepare meals if we wanted, the hot tub was a great place to relax after a day to wine tasting. Can't think of anything that could have made stay better.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This is a great stay for a couple. It's close to Sonoma Square but in a quiet environment. It has all the comforts of home - which we hardly used because we weren't there long enough or we were out wine tasting. The hot tub was great for enjoying a bottle of wine at night and watching the stars. There is a vineyard on the property which happened to be ripe for harvest. There was a crew around for one of the days harvesting the crop. They spent time teaching us about the grapes and the process of wine making. We were invited to join them but already had other plans - otherwise the place is really quiet. Our daughter goes to Sononma State University - which is about 20-30 minutes away - so if you have a parent's weekend to attend or want to visit your student at SSU - this is a super alternative to any hotel. We highly recommend the cottage - it's a great vacation experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Your property is wonderful. My friend and I enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. The grounds are beautiful, all the roses blooming, the vineyard, the cows wandering around the meadows and the gorgeous art work were more than we expected. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hot tub was perfect. We can't wait to come back. Thank you-Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
