Located in Ocean Point, a private gated community inside Wild Dunes, this house provides a quiet setting and tons of amenities for you to enjoy on your next vacation.
The home is three stories with an additional screened basement on the ground level, which backs up to a lagoon at the end of the links course driving range. The basement level includes a combo pool/ping pong table and opens to a stone patio overlooking the lagoon. The first floor contains a large bedroom suite with 2 queen beds, private bath, private balcony overlooking the lagoon, and flat screen cable television. The laundry facilities are also located on this level.
The second floor hosts the main living area, a gigantic open floor plan with large gourmet kitchen, 4 bar seats, and large dining table (8 adults). The kitchen includes 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, electric range, ice maker, wet bar, 2 wine fridges, dishwasher, half bath, and a large pantry. The living area is well appointed with plenty of comfortable seating and a large HD flat screen TV. This level also includes a covered porch with an outdoor table and sitting area.
The remaining bedrooms are on the third floor, all with private baths and flat screen cable televisions. The master has a king bed, shower, jetted tub and a private covered porch. The master enjoys expansive views of the Intercoastal Waterway and Dewees Inlet. The next bedroom has a queen bed and day bed with a trundle and can sleep up to four guests. The last bedroom has a queen bed and enjoys peeks of the ocean out of the large front windows.
This upscale beach home has all the extras for a relaxing beach vacation. The elevator reaches all four floors. A central vacuum and laundry facilities are included. The Ocean Point Pool, which is private to owners and guests of the small community, is located across the street (1.5 minute walk). The beach is a 3.5 minute walk away and provides a more private stretch of beach than the overcrowded main sections of Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes. Dewees Inlet also provides for great beach exploration and surf fishing.
Guests can enjoy all the benefits of being in Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis, bike paths, gym facilities and other activities through the resort Sports Card. The IOP Marina is 5 minutes away and offers boat rentals, fishing, jet-skis, para sailing, creek & wildlife exploration vessels, and more. Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island and Mt Pleasant restaurants are within 15 minutes. Downtown Charleston is 30 minutes away and features world famous dining, shopping and sight seeing.

We stayed here with two other couples for a February long weekend where the weather was, unfortunately, pretty yucky but, since we were staying in this beautiful home, it did not even matter! With such elegant decor, a great floorplan with lots of room for everyone, a kitchen with every appliance, utensil, and amenity you could even think about needing (not to mention the gorgeous marble countertop, the wine cooler and the DUAL refrigerators!), spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds and upscale bathrooms, a lovely view of the pond and a very short walk to the community pool and the beach, it was a pleasure to stay in this immaculately clean home, even in the "off-season"! We felt like we were visiting very generous friends with exceptionally good taste:) rather than renting! Our every need was taken care of...loved having bikes to use for the one day the weather was good and the porches were so inviting and comfortably furnished that I am sure we would have hung out there had it been a little warmer and drier! This home does not feel at all like a rental house...it will truly be a home away from home for you! Our family has rented many properties at Wild Dunes and we would return to this one in a heartbeat. Also, the owner was very responsive and helpful, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in enthusiastically recommending this home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

The owner of this property was magnificent to work with. I have rented from owners about 10 times and Tommy was very professional, thorough, accommodating and responsive. The best owner I have yet to work with. The property was immaculate and the quality of materials used in the home are beautiful. We had six adults and five children age six and under gathering from New York, California and Virginia. The house is spacious with a wonderful kitchen and open floor plan. Grandparents were on the bottom floor for sleeping while the families were upstairs. The porches have beautiful views and it is a short walk to the beach or the pool. We chose to go to the beach in the afternoon as the children loved the tidal pools at the beach at that hour and the pool was quiet in the morning so perfect for the children. The owner provides some beach toys for different ages as well bicycles. (We did not use the bikes on the beach but they were in excellent condition.) The owner also makes a grill available which made cooking fish perfect. There is an elevator in the house which we chose not to use but would be a plus in a house as large as this for some families. Our family loved this home and have asked to return again. They are busy professionals and felt they had privacy and yet room to gather as a family. We have visited Wild Dunes for 20 years and love what it offers at the beach, pools, dining at the marina upstairs (good for families with young children), and my grandchildren had one of the best swim teachers I have ever observed at the swim center. We also enjoy the close proximity to Charleston for it's historical venues and fine dining and as always the adults enjoyed tours and restaurants. This home is beautifully cared for, the owner is extremely accommodating and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a beach holiday. It is perfect for families with young children as well as teens or for friends enjoying a vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
