We are the owners and caretakers of this beautiful home. We enjoy this cabin as our vacation home as well and try to provide our guests with all the comforts and conveniences of home and then some!
Why the Owner Chose Murphy
This cabin was built at this location for its convenience to downtown Murphy without compromising the unbelievable views and privacy available. All within a gated community.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
We love to sit on the deck and look out at the breathtaking views of the mountains. We always have a ton of fun with our family and friends because of all the amenities the cabin has to offer. There is plenty of room in the home and even if there is more than our family, we have lots of room to stretch out and not constantly be under each other's feet.

We have rented in the Murphy area since 2003. This year we found The Soaring Eagle Cabin to be our favorite of all times! The paved road up allowed us easy access to a spectacular view of 3 states. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful and even being fogged in one morning was a neat experience. The cabin itself offers first class furnishings and accomodations. The mountain style furnishings and decor were awesome. A pool table, fooseball table and air hockey table provided endless entertainment and the 2 fireplaces made for relaxing evenings.
Owner response:Thank you so very much for your kind review. We are always thrilled to hear that our guests had a great time! Thanks again for choosing our home and looking forward to your next visit!

We have been to this property twice and loved every moment. We went into Murphy, took the train ride in Bryson City, rode over to Cherokee to the casino, went to Helen GA for the day, however, we would always be back on the mountain prior to dark. Lots to do all around. Great view and and a great place to gather with friends and family. The property was very clean and well maintained. The property owners are very helpful in answering all your questions and concerns. We would recommend this property and we plan to go back again.
Owner response:Were glad you enjoyed your stay, hope to have you back again soon ! Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

I was looking around for something for Labor Day weekend this year 2009 and ran across this place where we stayed last year. Unfortunately, they are booked this year....but I must say it is a georgeous place for a family get together. The elevation is steep....but wonderful views. Has a game room, and lavish master bedroom. We went to a trout farm and caught our dinner for one night....grilled another...went white water rafting one day. Very equipt for cooking and relaxing. Very much worth the reasonable price $$$$.

It's off the beaten track, and that's a good thing if that's what you're looking for. Mountain sunsets. Little-explored trails in the vicinity, but you have to know where to look. Pool table and games are fun, as is roasting some hot dogs and making smores over the fire. The downside in the off-season is that the lake concessions are not up and running. If you're looking for boat rentals, don't bother until the 3rd week in April. Nantahala isn't too distant, nor is the Ocoee for the folks interested in battling whitewater. All in all, a really good week of fun and relaxation.
