  Heaven's Gate is a gorgeous, spacious home with breathtaking views. We enjoyed watching sunsets and the bats from the deck. The home is very clean and well appointed. Suzette was very quick to address our only concern. It was fixed immediately. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wishing for a quiet getaway with lots to do only a short drive away. We had 10 in our group and everyone slept comfortably! Thanks, Suzette. We hope to be back.

  You can't call Heaven's Gate a cabin...it is a spacious, beautiful home. Heaven's Gate is located in a private, gated community with breathtaking views. We had a memorable long weekend. There was plenty of room for 8 adults. If you have children, the house is safe and child proof. I would wake up in the most comfortable bed, and be so thankful that I was there. Plus I couldn't stop being amazed at the room I was waking up in, the architecture of the log cabin was that great. There were so many things to do in the area...visiting the lake, Chimney Rock...but I just wanted to stay in the house as much as I could. There was a grill and full kitchen, so we could cook all our meals. We didn't even need the TVs, DVDs, and radios because we were having so much fun!

  My friends and I celebrated my wifes birthday at Heavens Gate and I can't imagine a better place to get away from the stresses of life. The views are absolutley breathtaking, and the cabin has every amenity you could need and then some. There is so much to do in the area, the only problem is you have to drag yourself away from the cabin. I would recomend this property to all of my friends and family

  I had a wonderful weekend at Heavens Gate. The cabin is beautiful and very close to all the attractions around Lake Lure. The full kitchen and grill was great we cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner all weekend. I can't wait to go again for a relaxing and fun weekend. The cabin is very child proof, next time we go I can't wait to bring our baby due next March.

  This was not my first trip to Lake Lure, but definitely my favorite! Heaven's Gate is a gorgeous property with great views. The house was spacious and comfortably slept 8 adults. It also was well equipped with TV’s, DVD player, radio, play station etc. Nevertheless we had no use for any of these amenities with such great views to enjoy from the porch and Chimney Rock Park around the corner to explore; we never even turned on the TV!!!!! I wish our trip was longer and I am looking forward to another trip to Heaven’s Gate again in the near future! For those with children, the house is well equipped with child safety as a top priority! I would highly recommend this house for all age groups!!

  We just got back from our first visit to Heaven's Gate. I already wish I was back! The views were spectacular! I couldn't get enough rocking on the porch while gazing at the scenery! We were so close to the lake as well as Chimney Rock. The amenities were fantastic and the spacious layout gave 8 of us plenty of room to enjoy. I know we'll be back!

  We were just there for 4 nights the first week of August. I have to say that Suzette made our stay special. She was there for anything that we needed (which wasn't much) at the drop of a hat. The boys had fun playing in the lake and hiking nearby. We all hiked Chimney Rock one day; played putt-putt golf, mined for gold, hiked again and then rented a pontoon boat for the day on Lake Lure. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and comfortable home to come back to at the end of the day. There is lake access in the gated community and a short beautiful drive to the marina with many local restaurants. We will definitely be back! Thanks Suzette!

  Went to Heavens Gate in the fall of 2009 and again in early 2010 with my family and friends. This is a great cabin with Beautiful Views. Did not have to worry about our small children as there are gates on decks and stairways. Cabin has everything you would need. Comfortably slept (10) of us...(6) Adults and (4) Children. I highly recommend this property as a great value.
