Beautiful Italian villa, lovingly restored by Americans, located in the San Benedetto Valley, just over the border from Sienna. Perfectly located equidistant between Rome and Florence. Perfectly situated: private, gated property in the hills for optimal privacy and views, but minutes from Umbertide, a medium-sized town with large shops, many restaurants and other amenities of larger towns. Surrounded by many small, quaint, medieval towns for sight-seeing and exploration. A short 20-30 minute drive from the historical, medieval city of Perugia.
Regular maid service is included, and local property management will handle all guest requirements. Our policy is to have personal contact with all our clients and adapt the possibilities to perfectly suit their requirements. For example, you may wish to be left in private during your entire stay but have a driver to call on when you require it. You may wish to have all your meals prepared and served on the premises by an expert cook, or just an occasional dinner. You can call upon the services of our local wine adviser, and partake in a wide number of activities including Italian cookery classes in the villa kitchen or escorted truffle hunting in the local hills, if you so desire.

About the owner: We are a young, multi-cultural family, living and working in the US. We have strong European ties, hence wanting to own and invest in a property long-term in Europe. We have invested in and developed several properties in different countries and different continents. We always take a long-term view of our properties and ensure the highest quality and standards in all that each property offers. Every guest we have ever welcomed to La Dolce Villa has thoroughly enjoyed and relished in the atmosphere and relaxing, beautiful environment.

The Villa used to be the local school for the tiny community of San Benedetto. High ceilings and large windows plus a very tastefully arranged interior makes it hard to leave the place, but if you do, a lot of exciting options are available in the area. The pool has just been refurbished and is situated close to the building, giving you full privacy.
