Indulge yourself with luxury and privacy in this beautiful custom made designer villa made of exceptional tropical hardwood. One of the few luxury places on the Caribbean coast. The magical beauty and pureness of the rainforest is reflected in the handmade furniture and luxury materials. Nestled in the rainforest at the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, just a couple of minutes walking distance to the clear blue waters and white sanded beach of Playa Chiquita. Ideal for those people who appreciate luxury being surrounded by the fierce beauty of nature.
The villa consists of two floors and is 200m2 and has 3 bedrooms. The first floor of the villa has a big living room opened to a large veranda and a luxury fully equipped kitchen. Here you find as well two bedrooms (one bedroom has a queen-size four poster bed), a toilet and a separate sun terrace and lounge area. To access the master bedroom, go down to a tropical interior garden to the ground floor and enter the master bedroom with a walk-in closet (dry room) and a wide access to a Hammam like bathroom with a huge shower. The laundry room is also on the ground floor including a washing machine .
There is a separate unit ideal for 2 persons which can be rented together with the villa (not separate). It exists of an extra bedroom, small kitchen, bathroom with hot shower and patio with hammock.
In the lush tropical garden you can find a gazebo with barbecue where one can enjoy in silence the beauty of the rainforest, while having a drink or some food. The Toucan, the Howler monkeys, the sloths and many birds like to accompany you in this beautiful hideaway just a few minutes walk from the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica; Playa Cocles, Playa Chiquita and Playa Punta Uva.
From the villa it is also just minutes walk to a couple of nice restaurants with a variety of local and international dishes and a supermarket for the daily groceries.
A pick up from the airports of San Jose, Puerto Limon can be arranged - as a vehicle is not necessary once you are here - or perhaps we can also arrange for a car, moped or bicycle once you arrive.

We just returned from our trip to Costa Rica and stayed at the Villa Luz y Sombra and had a fantastic time! The house was gorgeous and right from the porch we saw hummingbirds, beautiful butterflies, red-eyed tree frogs, an agouti, and a two-toed sloth!. It is just a 5 minute walk to beautiful, uncrowded beaches. Emmanuelle, Shialo, and Green Management were very attentive to our needs, both before we arrived and during our stay. We (parents and 3 teenagers) were very happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Costa Rica jungle in style!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
