The cozy and luxurious Potts Suite is nestled in the beautiful 1899 Victorian landmark named 'Rand House,' located in the centre of Vancouver's downtown West End neighbourhood. The home has been completely restored and rebuilt in 2007 earning it a heritage award. The Residence is unlike any home you can rent anywhere. Attention has been paid to every detail of gracious living while providing every modern convenience and comfort.
This is a beautiful home! Neither a cold little box in a high-rise building, nor a stuffy museum piece of an antique house. The Potts Suite combines chic and modern furnishings and creature comforts with the class and charm of traditional architecture and design. The result is a unique living experience that guests notice the first time they lay eyes on the house.
The picket fence arbor greets you with brilliant white clematis as you stroll down the flagstone path to your suite entrance. Inside, the suite boasts original hardwood fir floors, heritage trim, antique doors, traditional hardware and heritage features throughout. The living room features beautiful leather furniture and a glass door out to your own private mini-patio. You may also wish to later go upstairs and sit on the wrap-around veranda where you can enjoy the vibrant neighbourhood with a glass of wine. There is a chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wine rack, gas range, electric oven, granite counters and an exterior gas BBQ.
Not only is the suite unique, but its location in one of the few remaining houses in the West End is directly centre-most. Steps to beaches and ocean, the famous Seawall bike, roller-blade and walking path around Vancouver’s coastline, downtown and all transit services. Just a 10-minute walk to the 1,000 acre Stanley Park with world-famous Vancouver Aquarium. Cosmopolitan shopping on Robson Street is three blocks away as are a host of world-class restaurants, cultural events and recreational activities. Walk 10 minutes and take the famous water taxi to Granville Island Market with exotic produce, street performers and Kids Only Market.
