Had a fabulous time at this lovely rental last week. My girlfriend and I travel for business frequently and were looking for a place to unwind for a few days before jumping back on the road. The place and setting were perfect with the beach and the pool just a few steps from the door. Chris and Lynn were very efficient and accommodating in setting all the details prior to our arrival. Everything was arranged and in place so all we had to do was relax. A perfect stolen moment in a perfect place for a vacation. While the transition on and off the island was easy enough, there was plenty to do right there. I would not hesitate to rent again. Many thanks to Chris and Lynn for making our stay so enjoyable.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This review is so easy for me yet so hard for me to write. Easy in the fact that I cannot begin to describe how in awe I was of Fisher Island and the beauty that it acribes but hard because I miss it so...I had such an enjoyable and peaceful stay. The pictures really do not do the island justice as they looked so good to be true but believe you me, it only gets better in person!!! You will really feel as if you are in a foreign land, especially with all different birds that are there and that is what makes it so great. I've come to discover that now I have a favorite tree, lol...it's called the Fuego Tree...there is a huge one that sits on the island. We were pleasantly surprised to meet Chris, who dropped by to greet us, shortly after we had arrived. His home is warm and inviting and exactly as you see...the balcony was my sanctuary. I could not get enough of the view and just watching the birds and suneffects on the ocean. We had a great tour given to us by Omar, one of the captains...we loved him, he was so cool. I was looking for him before we left and was actually sad not to get a chance to see him before we left. Everything about the island is peaceful and relaxing; cruising in the golf cart was the ultimate and spending time on the beach and watching all the boats go in and out of the port was like sitting at the airport watching planes takeoff. This was our first time in Miami so we took in alot of South Beach and the city. The weather was perfect, the water was perfect, the house was perfect and it was a perfect getaway. The island is definitely kid-friendly as there are fields, playgrounds and basketball courts and we saw some children running around playing with each other. I would recommend Chris and Fisher Island a thousand times over for any type of vacation you are planning! Absolutely loved it and I hope to come back in the near future and show my son and daughter a great time there.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

A fantastic apartment with spectacular sea views. Fisher Island is just wonderful: quiet and luxurious. We were often on Fisher Iceland, but this apartment has exceeded our expectations great. The apartment was perfectly clean and well-maintained. We felt like home. The photos and descriptions are very accurate. Our stay was handled by Chris friendly and uncomplicated. We thank you very much and we will definitely be back. We can highly recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Chris and Elena are great hosts and have a beautiful apartment overlooking the Atlantic. I will be back to Fisher Island and would recommend this unit to couples wanting privacy and luxury.Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This beautiful ocean front villa exceeded our expectations and we had very high expectations. Photos and description are accurate as far as they go but they cannot fully capture the beauty and tranquility of this unit and Fisher Island itself. Beaches, pools, spas, golf, tennis and restaurants are all what is claimed and more but for us best of all was the feeling of being far away on a Caribean island that was peaceful, quiet and calming. Chris was a pleasure to deal with and the resort staff treat you as if you were an owner. Everything was fantastic and we recommend it wholeheartedly.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

When we want to relax and unwind we go to our condo on Fisher Island. It's only minutes away from South Beach but feels like an island in the caribbean! The lifestyle that this property on Fisher Island affords our guests are second to none. This is actually an exclusive private club normally available only to owners and club members (Membership costs $250,000 + $25,000/year!)
Why the Owner Chose Fisher Island:
We bought this unit because its views are simply mesmerizing! We chose Fisher Island because although we vacationed in the Caribbean for years, we discovered that Fisher Island is much more convenient, accessible and provides a higher standard of living all around.
