Welcome to Lois's Place! Our Victoria get-a-way condominium! Our little piece of Victoria for those quick get-a-ways. Spacious and private, 1 bedroom plus den (easily used as a second bedroom), 2 full baths, with private patio off the living room.
Close to all that Victoria has to offer, and just moments from the up and comming terndy area of Sawmill Point (part of the Gorge Harbour).
Rentals are invited any time, year round.
Rentals and stays can be any where from 1 month to 6 months, and we have priced our rate to reflect the idea that nice properties do not have to be expensive.
Each room is decorated with various pieces or art by encaustic artist Lois Moore (and some are for sale should you fall in love with one of her pieces).
The master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, TV, DVD, and walk thru closet that leads to the master bath.
The den contains a leather futon that clicks down to a double bed (great for company), closet, as well as desk and high speed internet connection.
The dinning area contains a cafe style table just right for 2 (but can set 4) and in front of the kitchen window for great and relaxing starts to the day.
The living room is spacious, and is fully outfitted with a large couch, chaise lounger, TV, DVD, stereo, gas fireplace, ceiling fan, and various unique items from around the world.
Sawmill Point has great little coffee shops, and for dining try GLO...a europub and grill. For fitness, Gorge Fitness is a great place over looking the waterway. Chinese, Sushi, Pizza? All within walking distance (some just 1/2 a block away!).
For a great start to the day, try an early morning walk around Sawmill Point and the Gorge on the various paved paths...most mornings seals or otters can be seen swiming the waterway.
During the summer time you can even take the inner harbour pedestraian ferry either for a commute or for the whole historical water way tour.
Victoria is a magical place, with so much to see and do. From Butchart Gardens, to Goldstream Park, to the inner harbour festivals, to the wax museum, to the various hiking/walking trails to all of the cafes and shops.

$1175/month (as of September 1, 2011) Rental rates are based on min one month rental period. Sorry, no reduction or price adjustments for rentals less than one month. We are flexible on rates for rentals of 3 months or greater. All rentals require a security deposit equal to one months rent All rentals require a deposit of 50% of the security deposit no less than 30 days In advance to hold the booking. A one time cleaning fee of $75 may be charged, we can discuss.

Why the Owner Chose Victoria:
When the condo was orginally purchased we could see the prospects for the area. With the area now up and coming, and everything at your finger tips it makes it just that better. Tim Hortons is even across the way for a morning coffee, or an after diner treat. Prima Strada (around the corner) offers the best italian style pizza, and reservations are always recommended! The coxy patio is just perfect for relaxing in the spring and summer, as well as the fall.
