Upper West Side Studio-View of Riverside Park/Hudson/Gw Bridge
- Minimum stay:N/A

Enjoy an 8th floor view of Riverside Park, the Hudson River and the George Washington Bridge in our well laid out Upper West Side studio. This is the perfect location for professional, educators, retirees, and grandparents visiting and working in NYC.
The neighbor is safe and quite and only 2 blocks from all of the restaurants, groceries, and shops on Broadway, 3 blocks from Amsterdam. You can get almost anywhere on the NYC bus and subway system – there are 3 bus lines within 1 block and the subway station is 2 blocks on Broadway. Riverside Park is across street which offers great walking/jogging/biking paths, clay tennis courts, and a pool during the summer. Conveniently located near Columbia University.
The building has very friendly 24 hour doorman, elevators, nice clean laundry room, bike storage room and a new gym. The layout of the studio is nice because there is a separate area for the living room and the bed. Our unit was recently converted to condos so everything is new.
Queen bed and rollaway (full bed) couch provides separate sleeping and living space including 2 large closets, cable TV, high speed-wireless, all new appliances, linens, fully equipped top-of-the-line kitchen (sub-zero refrigerator, Miele stainless steel gas cook tops and ovens, dishwasher), thermostat controlled heat and air conditioning, and heated bathroom floor.

The apartment, the location, and the service of all concerned was better that advertised. The location just across from Riverside Park filled with blossoms and intoxicating aromas of a most unusual spring was unbelievable. The assortment of vegan restaurants and other take out food venues of exceptional quality only made it better. The kitchen was amazing and the residents that I encountered in the elevator and lobby were marvelous memories. I hope to be back soon!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you Leslie & Jeff for providing a cosy retreat for our stay in NYC. All the homely comforts are provided in this excellently located studio (including a wonderfully comfortable bed to collapse in after a busy day soaking up such a fabulous city). Only a couple of minutes to 96th Street subway and the wonderful selection of nearby eateries and shops. Great neighbourhood. We loved our walks in Riverside Park, in addition to being able to walk through Central Park to highlights such as The Met & Guggenheim. We appreciated your helpful and prompt responses to our queries. All in all a fantastic stay, if only Sydney and NYC were a little closer!! Thanks so much and we hope to be back again soon. What wonderful memories!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Spent May 2011 at this strudio apartment, both of us found our time here to be thoroughly enjoyable. The city is mind-blowing - always awake, always things to see and do. We basically walked ourselves into the ground seeing as much as we could possibly cram into our time - we were not disappointed! Understandably we were pretty tired at the end of each day and found the apartment to be a true "home away - - -". It has all that a traveller requires and allows for fuul enjoyment of your time. The position is excellent for bus and underground and is close to two streets with numerous reasonable eating options as well as groceries, pharmacy etc. The building always felt secure (doormen) and the area safe. The park along the Hudson was handy for a jog and Central Park was within walking distance. We utilised the laundry frequently- a boon to travellers, as was the free Wi Fi. We have no hesitation recommending this property to any couple on holiday or business. My friend and I loved the apartment. The view was great and it was very comfortable. You could easily eat dinner in - the cooking area, though small, was adequate for a studio. We chose instead to eat at the many inexpensive restaurants along Broadway. With an express and local subway stop within a three minute walk, the apartment is in excellent field position for anyone who wants to tour the city. We had to leave early because of a medical problem, but I hope to be able to rent the apartment again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door of this comfortable apartment partly because the Internet photos had captured all areas of the apartment and did so accurately. The location of the apartment building is safe and fantastic for public transportation and groceries and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dinnerware. My husband especially liked the shower! Thanks to our attentive owners we would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends and family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I spent a happy month in this small but very well equipped and very comfortable studio. It proved to a very quiet location but only a couple of blocks from all amenities including a major subway station and a crosstown and downtown bus. The landlords were hospitable and helpful. The wifi and airconditioning proved to be a real boon. I could heartily recommend this vacation rental for one person or a couple.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.
