This small 50-unit complex is a great family vacation. The beach is a short walk and the pool is at the end of this building.
The Villas of Ocean Gate is a brand-new complex in 2004 located at Saint Augustine Beach. Each building has 9 units. Each townhouse has a two-car garage, porch, and patio with a backyard. 2600 sq ft. of living space the largest condo on the beach.Tennis courts are never crowded and a hot tub is close by.
Oceanfront complex, four bedrooms,three full baths, one bedroom downstairs, one full bath downstairs,large living room with also a Den T.V. room upstairs for a seperate family room away from downstairs living room. 2600-square-foot, townhouse villas, with 2 car garage. Master bath has separate whirlpool tub, walk-in shower with granite tops. The master has a balcony off master bedroom. The kitchen is large with granite countertops, dinette area with porch, and formal dining area gives lots of room for dining. Unit has washer and dryer in full utility room. one separate den upstaires, gives lots of extra room. One full bath downstairs and two upstairs. Pool is end of the building, with bath house and lots of privacy. Also outdoor hot tub next to pool area.Beach chairs and Beach towels in condo also 4 bikes to ride.Baby furnture in condo Pack and play , strollers and high chair.
Beach access is on the property with a short walkway to beach .This is a ocean front complex but this unit does not have a ocean view. Five minutes to shopping and ten minutes to downtown Saint Augustine. Address to townhouse is 341 Royal Caribbean Court St. Augustine Florida 32080
ADDITIONAL RENTAL POLICIES:
* Checks,Money Orders &Credit Cards acceped, Visa, MasterCard & Discover. Checks must clear bank two weeks prior to check in. A 2.5% fee on Credit cards, Specials are in cash or checks only.
* All rents are due paid in full four weeks prior to check-in.Unless under 30 day Arival time.
* Deposit $350 returned four weeks after check-out and inspection
* No Booking is confirmed until Deposit is received and written confirmation signed.
* 30 day notice on cancellation applies to all wk rentals, 60 day notice on monthly rentals. Storm Cancellations are if a Named storm causes evacation to the St. Augustine Beach area ,exchange only dates will be worked for on another date on availabity basis.

I live in East Palatka, Florida only 30 miles from the beachs I enjoy the beachs and downtown St. Augustine. I have been doing condo rentals since 1996 and can give lots of referals i have been in bussines in Palatka since 1979 owning my own plumbing and electrical suppy house in palatka Bramlitts Inc.. also I am involved with the many differant community events and a chamber member my condos are nice and i take pride in the rentals and promise you that I am a real person no scams involved!

this condo is a ocean front condo complex this bldg sits 4 bldgs back off the beach the walkways are shown in the photos provided as addition photos of condo pleasse take a few monutes and review the site in detail the unit is very large and has alot of room, the bedroom layouts are shown for each room please look close thank you denise

We had several issues with the property. I guess you get what you pay for but here is a list. You can decide if you want to stay here or not. *Killed 3 Roaches in the Kitchen (The locals call these Palmetto bugs, basically a Roach that can Fly) *Sent email to property manager for beach code to get back onto property and never got a reply. We had to ask a family on the beach instead of risking a $2,000 dune fine for jumping the fence. *The 4th bedroom was a joke- a daybed on the first floor with sliding doors *The carpet was heavily stained and the place just seemed dirty *The walk to the beach was literally about 1/4 of a mile. The complicated maze of gates and walkways to get there was almost comical. Otherwise, we had a good stay as the place is in a good location.
Owner response:the renters did not look on site to see all photos as provided on the site ,a day bed trundle is clearly stated as the 4th bedroom layout with photos, a pest control service comes monthly to site there has never been a roach problem in past, the renters had my cell phone number which should have been called if there was a real threat not to get back in gate a email might not be reviewed over the weekend as I was out of town but did have cell ph on me so when I did call them back as soon as read the email, they had gotten in ok. the carpet was stained but was cleaned as it is done twice a year which was done in NOV or december and May as when it slows down before winter renters came in. there is a map of the walkways on this site for review . I think as a manager the rate that was charged for almosT 2600 sq ft condo with 3 full baths and 4 bedrooms, garage was a very reasonable price and cant be beat unless you rent a smaller house not a town house on the beach I am sorry they felt that this was NOT SIUTABLE FOR THEM THIS TOWNHOUSE STAYS RENTED YEAR ROUND AND EVERYONE IS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PROPERTY . there is many repeat renters each year Denise

The condo was more than we expected, well equipped and maintained. The pool was close by and the beach just a short stroll away. We had magical evenings walking on the each, and cozy evenings curled up on the couch. Just right for a relaxing vacation! Shopping was AWSOME! And close by. Looking forward to coming back here again in the future.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Stayed in this unit on the first week of June 2006. The whole experience was better than we could have hoped for. The Condo was beautiful, well kept, clean, conveniently located to everything. The pool was clean and well kept. Even the Condo overseer, (man who lives in one of the other units) stopped by to offer his assistance to make our stay enjoyable. The condo came with everything you could need, (beach toys, chairs, and bicycles). I hope we can stay here again. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. Thanks Denise,
