Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
Seattle born and raised, I discovered Walla Walla in 2003. I purchased two rental properties in the valley in 2003, and in 2006 made a permanent move to the Walla Walla. One of the homes I purchased included a guest house behind the main house (The Red Door Cottage),which was in very bad condition. It has since been renovated and updated and I have had the good fortune to meet the granddaughter of the original occupant of the cottage to discover the history of her family and the property.
Why the Owner Chose Walla Walla
Walla Walla enjoys 300 days of sunshine. The valley is home to three colleges which together with our wheat farmers and the wine industry provides many employment opportunities and a diverse work environment. Nice warm summers, many wine tasting venues, great food and wonderful small town camaraderie.

What a cute little cottage and the owner has great customer service skills. We were able to walk to downtown, you are close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely delightful space and a great value. We spent our money on wine rather than lodging. Prepared breakfast and lunches at the cottage and splurged on dinners out. We will recommend to friends.
