Thanks for your interest in our family cabin in the Sierra Foothills. Our cozy cabin is set in the Sierra Mountains in the midst of the tall pines. This charming retreat is located in beautiful Arnold, California, the Gateway to the Sierra!
The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. You can comfortably sleep 10 in beds including convertible beds. This includes 3 King Beds, 1 queen sleeper, 1 twin, 1 childs bed.
There are also charming shops, superb wine tasting and fabulous restaurants in downtown Murphy's.
When relaxing inside the cabin you will enjoy four televisions, with DVD and Comcast cable with internet access and WiFi. The stereo has an iPod input so you can listen to your own favorite music. We also keep a library of books to read and swap, as well as jigsaw puzzles and games.
The cabin is very private with a covered deck looking out onto the large pine trees. Ample parking for all your guests including 2 garage spots for you. A wood stove in the living area makes the space quite cozy and heaters in are each room to keep everyone warm.
A Ski Lease option may be available.

The Antler cabin was clean, comfortable and accurately depicted. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Great quiet location with short, easy drives to Bear Valley and Murphy's and close to shopping. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin in a well equipped kitchen with ample cabinet space for our goods. We would recommend this cabin for winter or summer stays.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

In an attempt to "getaway" for awhile, we spent a week in late June exploring and relaxing in the gold country. This cabin (if you can really call it a cabin) was perfect. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. From the inviting feel of the living / family room to the great covered deck (complete w/ BB-Q) to the well decorated rooms, it felt like home.We spent the next few days relaxing and exploring the surrounding area. By the second morning, we were able to turn the cell phones off and not feel guilty! A trip up Hwy 4 for a little fishing was great. Some of the high elevation lakes had ice still with snow along the road yet the weather was perfect. A slow yet beautiful drive to Markleeville for lunch was another great distraction. After a week, we felt like we had barely scratched the surface of the things to do and hated to leave. We will surely be spending some time each year exploring different areas in this way and when we come back to revisit this area, we sure hope we can stay here. This was our first VRBO experience and it was great. We will do this again for sure.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

The cabin was perfect for our three week summer stay. Quiet neighborhood, nicely furnished kitchen, lovely outdoor deck area. The owners were easy to work with, flexible and friendly.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.
