  We spent 3 nights at the Classic Apartment in March and can't say enough about our helpful host Marcela and all the information she provided for us. She also helped coordinate with the airline the delivery of our lost luggage which allowed us to be out seeing the sights of this beautiful city instead of waiting around for the delivery from the airline. The apartment is very well equipped for most all your needs and is very centrally located. It's only about a 10 minute liesurely walk to La Sagrada Famillia and only about 5 minutes from the metro station which will get you all around the city quite easily. Marcela even recommended a fabulous restaurant called Ya Ya Amelia about 10 minutes away which has the best local fare and specializes in fresh seafood. There is also a fabulous fresh open air market only about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. This place has it all! We hope we can make a return visit to Barcelona soon and we definitely recommend you stay at one of their apartments. They are truly great hosts making it easy for a foreign traveler to feel at home!   The Classico Apartment is exactly as pictured. It is convenient to the metro and walking distance to many sites. The tile floors and shuttered windows are a charming addition to this authentic apartment. We did not use the kitchen facilities in our short term stay so cannot review those items, but they were well equipped. An earlier reviewer mentioned the dryer taking very long to dry clothes and I have to clarify that this in probably not a problem with this particular apartment as we have found just about all European dryers to be this way, especially if they are washer/dryer in one machine. I had good communication with the owner as to reservations and entry details. My only qualms were with the impatient and slightly disdainful staff we encountered. We had not even arrived in the room yet (on a Sunday when most things were closed) and there were 2 messages left for us to come down and pay for the rest of the room. When that was not accomplished on their time schedule they appointed a time for us to meet which was completely inconvenient with our schedule. When we showed up the next afternoon (Monday) to pay in full the man managing the store where the office is located was surly and seemed put-out by our request to pay someone. He located the young woman we were to pay who when asked about restaurants in the area had no clue and only recommended the restaurant next door which was closed. I seemed to be more familiar with Eixample than she. Overall, this is a good apartment in a good location with a conscientious owner. The glowing reports of staff are lost on me, but I do understand how difficult it is to deal with travelers and constantly changing tenants. If the demand for money were not so persistent and the reception churlish I would have enjoyed this more. Perhaps the full amount paid in advance should be a requirement not just an option.

  Very good choice for my family. Bright, clean, quiet, reasonably centrally located apartment with most everything you need. The 'managers' reply to my email(s) was quick and helpful. At the apartment they are close by and really helped with our stay by pointing out restaurants and markets etc. Other notes- It does have a safe that you can use and it was large enough to store my laptop etc. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds (pull out couch we didn't use it). The lg table in the enclosed veranda was great for breakfasts and the odd dinner. Negatives. The clothes dryer takes a long time to dry. Bathroom could have been bigger (but it had everything you needed in it). Recomended.

  The apartment was exactly what I envisioned it to be, just the right size for what we wanted. The place is clean, the neighborhood is quiet, the sights are awesome.. the kitchen was great, we cooked up many good meals in it.. Bernardette
