  My husband, 14 month old daughter and I had a weekend stay at Beach Daze. We have stayed at many beach house rentals along the TX Coast. This was one of the cleanest houses we have ever stayed in. This is a very family friendly house, and they had everything we needed. We didn't have to bring any baby gear, it was all there! It was a wonderful, stress free weekend get-away. Exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend to a family with small children. (However, the water in front of the house has swim warnings, and is very rough. We sat on the edge of the water just fine, but I wouldn't let kids get very far out. There are calmer spots for children to swim near the park.)

  The beach house is across the street from the ocean, great place to stay. Calm and peaceful. I loved the accessories with the house, skim boards, BBQ pit, anything and everything else found normally in a house. Great stay!

  Matthew and Bobby continue to offer a great vacation experience. Fourth stay at beach Daze, and every time the accommodations are improved and very inviting. Fishing is great on the gulf, and Matagorda has a wonderful beach. looking forward to my next stay as usual. :)

  This was our second stay at Beach Daze and we absolutely love it. The house is bright, light and airy with charming decor and fully stocked with everything you will need. The owners are wonderful to work with and we feel at home staying here! The location is great, just across the street and dunes from the beach. Its a quiet location perfect for getting away from the big city and enjoying the water and nature surrounding the house. We will definitely be back again and again!

  Renting Beach Daze for a week was a great idea. The best supplied rental that I have ever seen.The kitchen was well stocked with everything except a blender, but any other gadget or need was there. The house was very clean, the location was great.It was a really short walk to the beach, the nature park down the street was great place to hang on the river also.The deck out front was a great place to sit and watch all the wildlife and stars at night. great place for a great price. I was very satisfied and everyone had a great time.

  My Son and I had such a wonderful time on our vacation. Our stay at Beach Daze was great, the house has everything you need, it was very clean. It had all the amenities of home. The owners Matt and Bobbie are great to work with, and answered any questions that I had promptly. We spent most of our time at the beach, which was very clean and not crowded at all. The pier is right down the road and great for fishing. I will definitely recommend this cozy beach house to family and friends.

  After staying the last 2 years in more crowded beach areas further down the coast, we looked to shorten our drive and we found a hidden gem in the process. The area is far less crowded and moves at a slower pace than many other resort areas on the Texas Gulf Coast, but there is just as many things to do. We had the entire beach to ourselves many evenings and never felt crowded at all. The fishing areas were plentiful and the amenities were great. The Beach Daze house is fully stocked and if you forget anything, chances are the owners have included it in the house. The quiet nights on the deck were spectacular and the kids loved watching the birds and collecting seashells. We will definitely be coming back.

  We all agreed that our weekend was perfect! The house is so cute, clean, and well equipped, that we never left except to walk to the beach. The owners are wonderful people to deal with (unlike others we have had) and we came home relaxed and feeling rested and peaceful (and a little sun-burned!). We will be back, hopefully later in the summer. Thanks!

  My wife and I had a wonderful time at Beach Daze, the house is charming, very clean and it has everything you need, Being just a few steps from the beautiful beach you can sit on the deck, feel the breeze and experience the relaxing magic of the ocean, We will come back soon. Highly recommended !
