This is absolutely the best location in Taos Ski Valley!! This condo is located directly on Strawberry Hill, the beginner run for the mountain. There is a chairlift directly outside, so you literally just put on your skis and go!! At lunch, you just ski down, take your skis or snowboard off, and walk inside to heat your boots by the fire (and perhaps take a quick snooze if needed). Then, it's out you go for an afternoon of some of the best skiing in the west!!
In the evenings, just put on your snow boots and take the short walk across Strawberry Hill to the Village, where a variety of dining and entertainment options await you.
The condo sleeps 6 comfortably, with two bedrooms and two full baths. After a long day of skiing, soak your muscles in the Jacuzzi tub or the Hot tub. There is a private balcony, perfect for feeding the birds while enjoying your morning coffee and marveling at the outstanding mountain views.

My family and I were just there and had the most amazing time! Never have we been skiing where we had a better location and were just able to step outside and be on the hill. We could also watch our kids at the ski school from our balcony while we had coffee in the morning! They had so much fun and we were all able to ski together in the afternoon. The condo is cozy, clean and well maintained. We loved the fireplace and warming our boots there every day. A little pricier than some of the others in the valley, but totally worth it for the location! We will definitely be returning next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Year Purchased: 1965
About the owner: The Bradbury family has owned this condo since 1965, when Bill Sr. and Frances found what was then a hidden "gem" in the heart of the Sangre de Christo mountain range. They were living in Chicago, so making the trek was no easy task, but they loved Taos enough to make the journey each year. Since then grandchildren and great-grandchildren have created many, many memories in Taos, with many more to come. This place continues to be our little "gem" that we cherish.
Why the Owner Chose Taos Ski Valley:
This property has been in the family for years, and three generations of us have learned to ski there. We are truly spoiled by the phenomenal location and find it difficult to ski anywhere else. The owners were friends with the Blakes, and feel that Taos Ski Valley is a very special place that is near and dear to the hearts of everyone in the family.
