My husband and I are have been married for 34 years. We have two adult children, and four, four legged, furry grandchildren! I am a part-time writer, and work at a school district as a transportation/non-instructional personnel coordinator. He is in the car business.
Why the Owner Chose Tidewater Resort
We discovered the Myrtle Beach area about fifteen years ago and quickly realized it was not only our favorite vacation spot, but a wonderful place to eventually live. We started by purchasing a condo on the beautiful Tidewater Plantation, and enjoy going there as often as possible when it is not rented.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
There is a small, private pool hidden in the back of the condos not many know about. There are several throughout the community. The community is nestled in the middle of a forest, and walks, even on the hottest days are guaranteed to be covered with shade from the tall Southern pines. The beach is wonderful, all year, and the people are warm and friendly. We feel at home.

I had the pleasure of staying at this condo last year, October - November and loved everything about it! The condo itself is roomy, well-kept, and provides all amenities required for a beach/golf vacation. The first floor setting is wonderful - parking immediately adjacent, the golf course/driving range within walking distance, and an airy back screened-in patio to enjoy on cooler evenings. The location is just great - within a few minutes drive of Cherry Grove Beach (which is my favorite location in the Myrtle Beach area), Myrtle Shopping, and also N. Carolina golf courses in Little River and beyond. The Tidewater Resort area is just beautiful - gated community, but not "stuffy", the guardhouse personnel are just wonderful ...... all-in-all, you couldn't go wrong in staying at this location. Treat it well, because you'll want to return again and again!

Convenient parking right at front door. It's resort living at it's finest. No stairs, peaceful back porch, soft colors, homey feeling. Loved it.
