My husband and I and our 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son stayed at this condo recently for a few days. It was perfect for us because it had all we needed to relax and entertain our 2 little ones. The condo was very clean which was very important to us as our 1-year-old eats everything he finds! So we really appreciated that first and foremost. Moreover, the view was wonderful as we all enjoyed watching the boats and if one parent stayed behind with one child napping, he/she could still enjoy watching the other parent and child in the pool or on the beach! The pool was also very clean and perfectly maintained. It was great that it was heated because the air was kind of cool, but the pool was very comfortable. My daughter absolutely loved the pool time with Daddy. We did go to the nearby African safari which was a hit with all of us. I highly recommend it. Pack a picnic so you can take your time and see all of the walk thru area, too. One evening we went to nearby Docker's restaurant but didn't feel it was very "family friendly", so we left and instead went a few miles to "Crosswind's" restaurant. MUCH better and the food was yummy and reasonably priced. We went to many playgrounds, as there's one at the complex, one down the road across the street from the lake and we went to a great one at Put-N-Bay. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend this place for families with small children! Also, the owner was very easy to work with; very responsive and helpful. Our stay at this condo exceeded our expectations! My family and I had a wonderful time at the lake and at the pool. Weather was perfect; not too hot and not too cool!! Our six and two year old loved every minute! We will most definitely be staying here again next year!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife, grandson and I enjoyed our stay. I don't know how you could find a better view in that area. We liked the fact that we could fish at the pier because it was so close. Anything you need is very close and convenient to get to. Even though it was late July and hotter than normal, there was usually a nice breeze coming off the lake. It is like going to Florida without the palm trees and excessive heat and long drive.Recommended for: Families with young children

My sons and I had an incredible week at the lake over the 4th of July. The condo was exactly as described. We have rented 3 different units at the Waterfront Condos complex and this one was spectacular. We absolutely love this location in Port Clinton. It is a very quaint old fishing community and the locals are very friendly. This is the best place to watch fireworks on the 4th.....you can see them all around the lake. Very convenient location as well..park and walk or ride bikes.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a very nice condo. The view is really, really wonderful!. The condo is very clean and well kept. Like home away from home. The sun room is really nice to sit in at watch the boats on the lake and take in the view. The beach is nice for the little ones to play on and if you want to take a stroll. Best place to swim is the pool which is great. The pool has a nice shallow end for the little ones and it has seating ledges around the pool so you can sit in the pool and socialize if you want, but is big enough to do swimming laps if you want to. Walmart is a short, easy to find drive away if you forget anything.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a nice weekend we had at this condo! It is tasteful, clean, well-equipped, and well-situated on the shoreline of Lake Erie. Our family of 5 (we have 3 elementary-aged kids) slept comfortably with use of the pull-out sofa and single roll-away bed. Even though the pool was not yet open the kids had a great time on the sandy strip of beach, playing in the sand--they had the place to themselves! Richard was definitely helpful and friendly, and we're really glad he mentioned the Magee Marsh wildlife area. We happened upon the biggest birding week of the season there! We will recommend this property to our friends (and have already passed on the number to our extended family.)Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I choose this place as my birthday getaway, and I couldn't have been happier! Rich, the owner, was very helpful with finalizing my stay, and answering any questions I had. The unit had everything I needed, and was very comfortable. My favorite room was the sunroom....the view of the sunrise in the am, and the lights from the distant islands at night were very relaxing. The beach was right out my back door, and even though it was cold, it was the beach non the less! There are a lot of places to see bald eagles in the area, and other water birds. Furgusons Art Gallery is a must, and there is the Nautical Needle for quilters to add to their 'vacation fabric stash.' Even though it was the off season, some of the other quaint shops in the area were open. The Marblehead Lighthouse is a must see. And, if you like old fashioned, family friendly, Italian food, eat at Phils. It's been around forever, and the food is as good then, as it is now. Nothing fancy, but you know it's good when the locals go there. I am looking forward to returning here someday, and will recommend it to friends and family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is our 2nd time staying in the condo. It is very clean and tastefully decorated. The view and breeze coming in on the enclosed patio make this unit a perfect spot to relax. The complex is clean and quiet which is great for families. The pool was very clean and the private sandy beach area is perfect for providing an "ocean like" experience to kids. There is also A LOT to do within a 30 minute drive as well as the ferry to PUT-IN-BAY is only a 5 minute walk from the condo. The owners are very easy to work with and we are already looking forward to next year's trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed everything about this property-but especially the pool and hot tub, which were meticulously clean! Everything was "as advertised." Modern, clean, easy access, well stocked, good location, very friendly, helpful owner. What more could a renter want? I recommend to anyone wanting to relax! There is also a restaurant right next door, on the water, so you don't have to drive anywhere when you'd like to eat out!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was our second year at this particular condo. The description of the condo was exactly as descibed, near everything you may need or want to go, the view, the photos were just as it appears. Very clean with everything you need. We did not leave the premises once we got there. Just enjoyed the pool & lake all weekend. The owner is very hospitable & friendly. I definitely would recommend this condo to my friends or family. Very convenient location. Near just about everything you could think of to do. The only thing I missed in the evenings, was a TV in the bedroom. But otherwise, everything was perfect. We plan on staying again next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband, grandsons (ages 4 and 6) and I spent 3 nights at this third floor condo. I was concerned about the location at booking but found it to be perfect. The view was great. Access to the pool and grassy area was easy using the back stairs. Most of our stay was sunny with low humidity so we were able to open the windows and take advantage of the beautiful breeze off of the lake. This is the perfect place to take kids. Our grandsons had a blast in the pool and on the playground and met many other kids to play with. My husband and I met many friendly people and hope to see them again next year. The condo is comfortable, clean and well supplied. It actually can sleep six if you have kids in your party. I would recommend putting the kids on the pull out couch though - it is really uncomfortable for an adult.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The four of us stayed here for three nights and we hated to leave. Not only was the condo beautifully decorated. But all the furnishings were high-end quality. It had all the comforts of home. And it was very helpful to have the washer and dryer so when we got home to unpack all we had to do was put the clothes away. The view was indeed breathtaking as described. My husband and I rented this apartment for one week during a rainy September. Our goal was relaxing and accomplished. The view from the sun room was perfect. I read several books and drank coffee and wine to my hearts delight. My husband read and laughed at me. We went to several wineries, explored and found Edison's birthplace. Took the Jet Express (just a brief walk) for the first time after 20 visits to Port Clinton. Decor lovely and kitchen well stocked for pans, dishes, etc. On the one or two sunny days, we took the provided chairs on the beach. Ate often at Jolly Roger because that place makes the best fish! Will return for sure.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our recent stay at this condo was one of the best times the four of us have had, which is not always easy with a 16-year old daughter and 10-year old son. The location is perfect and the area offers a variety of things to do. We walked to the Jet Express to go over to Put-In-Bay. We spent a whole day just at the condo going from the lake to pool to the hot tub. We ate a couple area restautants as well as grilled on one of the community grills. The distance that we could walk out into the water before it got deep was amazing. The entire outer area was clean and the grounds were well maintained. I think one of the things we liked the most was having the stairs in the front for direct access to the water. Going down for a sunset or sunrise or just seeing it from the beautiful sun porch made you feel like you were not even in Ohio. The condo was clean and modern and we could not help but feel relaxed once we settled in. The amenities made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We liked that as remote as we felt there were restaurants close as well as a grocery store. We look forward to making arrangements for next year's stay. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. They didn't mind communicating by email mostly or a call when necessary and their terms for the rental were reasonable and agreeable. This condo is a great place to stay and relax but have plenty to do if you wanted!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
