  I'm a little hesitant to write a review on this condo because I'd like to keep it as my own little secret! First let me start by saying that pictures do not do justice to how wonderful this 2nd floor condo really is. My husband, my father and my 5-year old identical twin granddaughters stayed for a week and we did not want to leave. The beds are so comfortable - even the futon in the office where the girls slept. The high speed internet is really fast and we used it for all of our devices (laptop, phones and iPads). The kitchen has everything you will ever need for making any kind of meal you want. The living room furniture was very comfortable and the large TV with every channel you can imagine kept my 82 year old Dad occupied during the day. The full-sized washer and dryer were so convenient and worked very well. The location in a gated community is awesome. Directly across the street is a very nice grocery store (Basha’s) and there is easy access to town from the quiet north side of Tucson where the condo is located. The grounds are immaculate and the 2 pools with waterfalls and hot tub were a very short walk away were a delight to all of us. There was also a nice play area on the grounds about a 2 minute walk from the condo where the girls loved playing on the Monkey Bars and slides. We met a lot of very nice people at Ventana Veranda and felt like we were home. We definitely want to go back soon!

  We recently rented this condo for Christmas Week 2011. The owner was good enough to meet us inside the property gate (we called to let her know we were a few minutes away), follow her to the unit, where she showed us around, gave us the keys, and security card for gate. We loved the unit and it was perfect for our needs. The master bedroom/bathroom was at one end of condo and other guest rooms/bath at other end. Living room had nice mountain view and was very comfortable. The complex is extremely dog-friendly with lots of green grass, dog bags/trash cans placed strategically around the property making it very convenient to walk dog. There are two pools each with very nice cushy lounge chairs - the one closest to this unit not heated but the heated just a few steps away. It was delightful to actually be able to sit outside in the sun and swim in the heated pool in December! Complex in a great neighborhood - close enough to El Charro (fantastic Mexican) to walk - we went twice. Near other great restaurants of all kinds (recommend 'RA Sushi'; Sullivan's Steakhouse; 'Zinburger'; downtown 'Poca Cosa' for upscale interesting Mexican. No criticisms at all about anything to do with the accomodation. When it came time to leave, we didn't want to go and called owner and asked for another day which was easily accomplished. One small suggestion for owner - more and larger coffee mugs!! Thanks for a lovely stay!

  We stayed in this condo the last week of August, 2010. It was right place for us, in that I was attending a conference at Lowes Ventana Resort, which is just a mile up the road. This comfortable condo really does have one of the best views of the mountains in the complex! The third bedroom is set up with a desk for you to work on your computer, which I found helpful, and the kitchen is very nicely done. We enjoyed the pools, and the grounds here. The owner is very accommodating to work with. The only small annoyance was that this unit is deep in the complex, and was hard to find initially. No big deal, really. Overall, an excellent place and experience!
