Surrounded by towering pines, a rare flat, level lawn disappears into the cool clean waters of Loon pond. This waterfront property offers a wonderful, child-friendly, sandy beach for great swimming. You will find a quiet unspoiled part of Maine. Loon Pond is ideal for canoeing, kayaking or fishing for Bass hiding near the shore as well as water-skiing and Personal Watercraft.
Restaurants and shopping centers are located within a 15-minute drive. You will also find golf, tennis, cinemas, and even a small amusement park for the kids in season at the Acton Fair Grounds. Further to the north in Portland are many fine restaurants, and live theater productions. Be as active or as relaxed as you like in this little bit of paradise in the woods!
This charming cottage is directly on the water and all on one floor. It has been updated without losing any of the flavor of a traditional Maine camp. A large screened porch is great for an evening meal as you watch one of the many spectacular Loon Pond sunsets.
