  Wow....all I can say is WOW... From the time we walked in the door of this stunning condo to the time we left, we enjoyed every minute. It is so attractive with lots of room and such a beautiful view. We loved to listen to the ocean at night with the two patio doors facing seaward and the view from the balcony was incredible.  We would sit outside and watch the lights of Ixtapa over a bottle of wine and it was heavenly. We did a little of everything while we were there. Cooking was seamless in the well equipped kitchen and Ixtapa is so close for eating and Zihua a 10 minute taxi or bus ride away.  The service and friendliness at the Grandview was by far the best we have ever experienced on any trip and we felt right at home by the pool. We met so many great new people and made some friends that we still talk to even after we left. Both Dave and Mina were accommodating and made our stay very comfortable. We also felt very safe everywhere we went. We walked night and day and had nothing but great experiences with the locals and the visitors that we met. We ate fabulous seafood which we bought at the market fresh daily. The beach is the most beautiful one I’ve visited on the west coast. We were visited for 3 days with a pod of dolphins that frolicked in the surf right in front of the hotel. The sand is so nice and so easy to walk for long distance. We loved being able to jump out of the infinity pool straight onto the beach or just enjoying some food and conversation at the snack bar by the pool. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better time. So much fun that we want to return next year!

  This was our second year we stayed at this condo. We love the views. We love that the sun rises on our side of the building and sets on the other side of the building. We love that the loctation is on the quiet/peaceful end of Palmar Beach. We love the staff. We love the beautiful pools. We could go on & on..... We have also fallen in love with Ixtapa/Zih. There is so much to see & explore and the local people are so friendly and helpful. It is so convenient & economical to catch a bus and ride into Zih, or you can even take a bus to explore out further! We want to share that this year we found a great place to eat breakfast or lunch for very few pesos. It is the restaurant inside the clubhouse at the Marina Ixtapa Golf Course right accross the street from the condo. Excellent food on the shaded outside terrace overlooking the golf course. They only do b-fast & lunch. Hours are 7AM to 3PM open 7 days a week. Expect to pay approx $5 for breakfast and $6 for lunch. The food is plentiful & very good!!

  We just got back from staying for our second year in a row at this beautiful condo. We can not say enough good things about the owners they are very helpful and are easy to work with. The condo looks exactly like the pictures. It is tastefully done. We feel very spoiled when we are there. We are happy to say we had a great vacation again in Ixtapa.

  I hate to sound like a broken record, but it was another wonderful vacation. This was our third time staying in this unit and cannot say enough good things about it. Clean, bright, awesome views, everyone that works there is wonderful. The Marina across the street has become our favorite dining area. We still have our favorites in town as well. Looking forward to next January...and staying here for 3 weeks.....2 weeks just isn't enough anymore!

  The condo was everything advertised. Great balcony with a fabulous view of the ocean. The staff of the condo were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the beach Las Gattos out of Ziua. If you go to Las Gattos go to the second to the last restaurant on the beach and ask for Franko (just short of heaven). Really could not have asked for anything more! The only thing that might be nice at the condo would be an awning for some shade in the morning (when you are sun-burnt).

  Owner response: Thank you. Besides Playa Del Palmar which is in front our place, there are some wonderful beaches in the area. Playa Las Gatas and Playa La Ropa in Zihuatanejo along with Playa Ixtapa and Playa Linda in Ixtapa. Many have beachside restaurants serving fresh Dorado (Mahi Mahi), tuna or red snapper which is just superb.

  We stayed 10 days in this beautiful unit in Feb/Mar 2012. The pool in the best I have ever been to. I could have floated around in ther eall day relaxing!! There are so many restuarants near by and Marcos at the front desk helped us set up a great day of kayaking and a sunset sail on Picante. The beach is great for a morning run! The condo unit itself was hard to leave with the great views and outdoor furniture. All the necessary amenities were right there. If we go back to Ixtapa we would definitely stay at this unit again.

  We have vacationed in Ixtapa the last two years, always staying at an all inclusive resort. This year we wanted to try something a little different, so we choose to rent Dave's condo at the Bay View Grand Marina. Wow, what a great experience. The views were just as Dave notes in his description, SPECTACULAR, and the condo was very spacious warm and inviting with all of the ammenities of being at home. As this was our first time to rent a private property we were a little apprehensive. But Dave made it all so easy. He was very gracious to answer all of our e-mails referencing shopping areas, money exchanges, etc. He made us feel very comfortable. Between the beautiful condo, wonderful pool area and fantastic staff at Bay View Grand Marina we had the most wonderful vacation ever. We would definetly recommend this property.

  This was our second time staying at this condo. It was just wonderful and cannot say enough about the staff and the beauty of the Bay View Grand Marina. We have already signed our contract for next January! David and Mina are wonderful owners and are always so helpful with any questions we may have. The unit is beautiful, the greatest location and what a view! The food was exceptional at all the restaurants and the weather cannot be beat. We are already counting down the weeks until we return next year!

  We came for the sun and got plenty at the excellent pool and beach. We had the pool to ourselves the first 4 days and only a few other families during the balance of our stay. We very much enjoyed walking the length of the beautiful beach each day. We loved the view from the infinity pool out to the ocean. We found it very convenient to catch the inexpensive and frequent local buses to get to/from central Ixtapa to visit restaurants and go shopping. The resort staff were very nice and helpful. The unit was everything advertised. We found it a little crowded using the fold out couch for a third person. The only negatives were the wireless internet service was too unreliable to stay in touch with the office and we absolutely despise the red plastic bracelets that renters are required to wear 24x7 for "security" purposes.

  Owner response: The beach and 2 pools really delight our guests with a location that has very convenient transportation options. Staff is very professional. Wifi is shared in the complex, as an option the administration office has 3 PC that are available. Recent security rules that allow our guests 24 hour access made changes as noted.

  This was our second time to Bay View Grand Marina. The condo is really nice and furnished with everything that you would need for your stay. It was really nice to sit on the patio and watch the sunrise every morning. We would for sure stay in this condo again!! The staff at the condo is very helpful and friendly. Thanks for the wonderful vacation. Looking forward to our return to Ixtapa already!
