Welcome to our home away from home. This remodeled, two bedroom, two bathroom condominium sleeps six comfortably and is furnished with a western flare. Located in lush, scenic East Vail, just four miles from the Vista Bahn a high-speed quad ski lift located in the center of Vail Village.
Leave your car behind and ride the free transportation to the lift in the winter. In the summer you can also bike the Vail bike path which passes the Pitkin Creek condominium complex to Vail Village, Vail Pass, Copper Mountain, or in the other direction, all the way to Avon and Beaver Creek.
Amenities in the condominium include a queen bed in each bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. In addition, there is a woodburning stove, new 42 in. flatscreen TV, a year-round hot tub, and summer pool located just steps outside the unit. The condo includes a deck with outdoor seating and gas grill that overlooks the pool and courtyard area.
Enjoy hiking in the Eagle's Nest Wildernest area only one half mile away. Renowned fishing on the Eagle River is just across the street, Nordic, and downhill skiing are just minutes away. Our condominium is conveniently located near the only grocery, , and liquor store in East Vail. The convenience of being just minutes from the Vail Ski area, steps from the free bus and just off the East Vail exit of Interstate 70 make this an ideal location for your Vail Colorado vacation.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If renter cancels more than 30 days in advance the $200 security deposit will be forfeited unless lost dates are rescheduled. If renter cancels less than 30 days in advance, both the security deposit and the rental amount will be forfeited unless lost dates are rescheduled. Any monies can be tranferred to future rental dates.

As our family grew, we found our condo in Vail to be the perfect place to take our kids. They couldn't get enough of the champagne powder skiing or the hiking and biking during the summer.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
While staying at our condo you will enjoy a very comfortable atmosphere; sitting by the woodburning stove watching the snow come down outside. In the evening you can play games at the kitchen table while watching some of your favorite movies on the DVD player. You will want to go to bed early to wake up to Vail's phonominal champagne powder. The resort is only a few minutes away by free shuttle bus that runs every 15-20 minutes. No need to get in a car. A full market and liquor store are right outside your door as well as a clean steamy hot tub to warm up those muscles at the end of a full day of skiing.

We stayed there Dec/Jan of 2009/10 for skiing with 4 kids. We did not rent a car, but had no problem because the bus stop for free shuttle to Vail is right in front of the complex and there is a grocery store in the complex. (as the owner Patty suggested, if you are cooking most of the nights and want more variety, I would recommend going to Safeway) The condo is nice and very cozy, also you can feel that it is filled with the hospitality of the owner. Patty is very helpful and responsive to any questions you have. The owner provided the condo with basic items (such as laundry soap, sugar for morning coffee, and even some band-new boardgames), so we did not have to worry about getting them. I would recommend this property to my friends but not too many as I don't want this property to be booked when we want to come back!!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was clean, comfortable and had every single item you could think of. The community got cleaned every morning. It was close to the store and only 5 minutes to Vail. We were looking for an affordable but clean 2 bedroom 2 bath condo and the unit offered it to us. We did not use the hot tub and thus can not comment on that. It had a washer and dryer in the unit that helped very much. The owener is very approachable and helpful. Had no problem with payments and deposit.If possible we would stay there again. Thanks so much.

We stayed here in July 2009. The accomodations were great. All the basics were well stocked and there were even quite a bit of extras. It was located right off the highway and easy to get to Vail Village and all the other places you may want to go in Vail. The owners were very responsive to all communications. The only slight negative was the noise coming from the highway in the bedrooms. However, if you are a light sleeper like my husband and I, you can purchase some ear plugs in the convenience store. Or, you can sleep on the fold out couch which is away from the noise.
Owner response:Our condo is located along the frontage street in East Vail. Fortunately we are located below I-70 and in East Vail as opposed to West Vail where many condos are located above I-70, so noise from the highway is minimal, since sound waves rise. It's pretty difficult to avoid I-70 altogether when visiting Vail since I-70 runs through it. I (the unit owner) am a very light sleeper and I have had no problems sleeping at night!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
