  This home was excellent! The owners were easy to work with and the house was absolutely incredible! My entire family thought that the website pictures didn't do it justice, it was so much lovelier in person. There was plenty of room, and the hot tub was perfect for a relaxing dip in the evenings. What really put this home over the top for me was that in addition to the amenities listed, there were also bikes, boogie boards, sand toys and other things available for use in the garage. This home was the perfect place to stay!

  It is this type of hospitality that makes VRBO so worthwhile. The pictures do not do the house or location justice. Walking into the place you realize what an incredible home they have created. It was elegant, well designed, and perfect for lounging around or hosting a big dinner. Lori, was an incredible host. She welcomed us warmly and made our stay feel effortless. We chose this place to host a retreat with a group 13 college students. Our students were so overwhelmed by the house. The rock shower, hot tub, and bonfire pit just adds a great hang out area on top of the open kitchen, living room and spacious bedrooms. I cannot recommend this place and our hosts enough. We are so grateful for our time there.

  We stayed in this beautiful house for Christmas while my boys were home from college. If you are trying to find a place to stay in San Clemente, you might as well stop looking and book this home straight away. This home is on a quiet street close to the freeway and downtown San Clemente, and you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes! You feel instantly at home as soon as you walk in the door with the gorgeous decor, the beautiful tile flooring, the comfortable furniture. There was a thoughtful welcome basket waiting for us and candles lit so the house smelled amazing. The house is spotless, and the wonderful kitchen is brand new with new appliances and granite, Everything you need is supplied. There was even a rolling pin so we could make Christmas cookies!! The beds are comfortable. There are TVs in all the bedrooms and an outside fireplace on the deck off the master. The landscaping makes you feel like you are on vacation in Hawaii. The spa in the backyard is amazing and the firepit is wonderful for making s'mores, the supplies for which were waiting for us in our welcome basket. The owners are gracious and kind. They worked with me on the price and accepted payments to help me. I highly recommend this home and I promise you will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to stay here.

  We looked at hundreds of vacation homes to find adequate accommodations for our family reunion with 16 people. This one was clearly the best deal. Our teenagers were awestruck when they walked through the door. It has a festive atmosphere and is roomy and classy. The price is very competitive with other "beach houses", likely because it is not beach front property, but it is only minutes to walk to the beach, so it worked well for us.The back yard feels like a private paradise with its waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, barbeque and generous foliage. If we take another beach vacation we will go for this one again and avoid the hassle of shopping around.

  We couldn't have picked a better property to rent for our vacation! This property is beautiful and clean. There were 12 of us that stayed here and we had plenty of space for everyone. The backyard is a secluded oasis & we spent a lot of our spare time there. Between the beach (which was only minutes away) & the amazing spa, the kids were fully entertained. It was so nice to have all of the comforts of home while on vacation. Lori was so easy to work with & we will forever enjoy the memories that we made during our stay. This was our first visit to the charming town of San Clemente, and we can't wait to return!

  This home was perfect! The kitchen perfect for creating a wedding cake and flowers for our daughter's wedding. The backyard such fun for hosting a party, including the TacoWagon! Then relaxing big time for the two of us when everyone left. The beach so close..... House fully furnished and appointed w/ all our needs was a plus. Perfect! Loved it! Thank you for being so accommodating to us. We'll be back!

  My friends and I stayed at this house for a week leading up to my wedding. The moment we stepped in to the house, we were all ooh's and aah's and scrambling to see what other interesting features the house held. Lori, the homeowner, was extremely responsive via email and phone. She also hand wrote a welcome note, giving us tips about various parts of the house, such as the sound system and hot tub. My requirements for the rental house were pretty minimal. Reasonably priced, some type of pool, enough to sleep 10-14 friends and near the beach. The house far exceeded my expectations. The house was extremely reasonably priced. At the peak, when I had the maximum people staying at the house, it worked out to be about $20 a night. In the pictures, I thought the hot tub looked pretty small, so I had my doubts, but it ended up being a REALLY popular piece with all of my friends. It comfortably fit 8 people in it, with ample sitting room all around, and when heated up, it was extremely nice and toasty. It was probably one of the areas where we hung out the most, since the backyard was so spacious and had the barbeque, which we used frequently. In the mornings, when everyone was asleep, I'd slip out to the backyard since it was so peaceful and work on my vows for the wedding. In addition, there were ample beach towels for us to use in the backyard. The beach is extremely close to the house. It was about a 5 minute walk, and led straight to a volleyball court, where we spent two of our days playing volleyball, throwing around the football and just hanging out. The house also came equipped with 4 bikes, 2 of which we took out to ride around. The Amtrak runs on the train track, and the San Clemente stop is very close to the house. All of the rooms had some kind of bed/sofa and can definitely sleep 14 and potentially more. The pillows were soft and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. I slept peacefully every night I was there. The living room was awesome as well, stocked with a big TV (55 or 60, I'm not sure). We brought a gaming system and hooked it right up and spent a significant amount of time on the comfortable sectional in the living room. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed: plates, cups, forks, spoons, knives, etc. and the bathrooms were also pretty awe-worthy. One of my friends mentioned that the house seemed like it was straight out of a movie set. I'm running out of room for more details, but I would definitely recommend this h.

  We had a fantastic time during Thanksgiving week in this well-appointed home near the beach. It was comfortable for all four generations of our family. The 5 and 7 year-olds spent hours in the large, deep spa . Beach, Ole Hanson Beach Club and convenience store just a 3 minute walk away. We especially appreciated the bounty of towels provided for us, much needed for the many ins and outs from the spa. Thank you for the welcome basket, a perfect family gift.

  This was the best vacation we have ever had as a family and your house was a BIG part of that!!! Plenty of room AND everything we needed to feel like we were at home. I would stay here again and again.We are even thinking about buying in the neighborhood due to the great location!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! My kids loved the rooms and the games, the bikes and scooter, the fire pit for S'mores and of course the spa that is like a small pool. We left closer as family and fully refreshed!! Lori you are the BEST!!! Oh yea and the beach is like a two minute walk!!!!!!!

  The house was everything the description said it would be and more. The backyard was amazing, it was a perfect area to hang outside and enjoy the weather. It was a very comfortable and clean house, everything we needed during our stay was provided. The house was so much fun, that it made it hard to go and enjoy the rest of the town. Lori was very easy to work with, and was willing to help if we needed anything during the week.
