We had a great time at this house! The pictures do not do it justice. LOTS and LOTS of fun! Great views! Easy transaction-- deposit was returned promptly! We bought fishing poles and the boys fished, roasted marshmellows in the fire pit, enjoyed the scenery! The ping pong table was a hit with the kids! I would LOVE to stayt there again!
Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

Our family and our inlaws spent a great long weekend here and what a great place. You feel like you are in a treehouse sitting out over the lake. Great hiking 5 minutes from here and for the adventurous ones you can hike throught the woods to a big undeveloped subdivision that has it's own hiking trail system. Would recommend this place highly. This homeowner also has a spectacular place on the private gated island of Figure 8, just north of Wilmington, NC. VRBO # 225786. Both properties have modern amenities and are just top notch! Thanks again Angela for the great vacations your homes allow us to have.

The house was beautiful and truly provided the best views on Lake James. The layout and comfortable furnishings were perfect for our two families (9 people). The kitchen was a showpiece, with every imaginable gadget and appliance. There was a place for everyone; somewhere to sit and read a book, watch TV or a movie, play games, star gaze, or simply gather around the large dining table, deck, or outdoor fireplace for conversation. We loved having ping pong and chess tournaments after a full day of water skiing, tubing and swimming on beautiful Lake James. The house was situated high up and there were about 100 stairs down to the lake. It was not an issue for us. The views made it all worth while and there were nice benches along the staircase in case you needed to catch your breath. LOVED IT! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
