  I have stayed in Vieques before...in small guest houses in Esperanza, but this house really grabbed my attention when I came across the listing while searching for a place to vacation with a group of my closest friends. The listing is great, but the house is so much more amazing!!...truly exceeded our expectations. There is SO much space to relax, entertain, and sunbathe while offering even more room to escape and have privacy to read or rest. Each room is spacious and comfortable, providing your very own suite of privacy without feeling isolated from your friends. The salt water pool is clean, refreshing (especially in the brutal sun), and spacious for a dip or a little swim. The landscaping of the gardens and land provided shade when needed without obstructing the amazing views of the south harbor and mosquito bay...not to mention added to the beautiful design of the compound. So many meals...so many laughs...so much sun and fun...SO many memories!!! I highly recommend this house for groups of 6-10 and welcome anyone to enjoy the same experience that we had. We will surely return!! Also, Evan and Ellen were very kind and accommodating...and the local management team was so helpful, resourceful, and always available to address any questions we had. Cheo was sincere and graciously met us at the airport upon our arrival, took us to the rental car agency, and even recommended a few great places to eat and things to do.

  This is a spectacular place to stay. The house located on a mountainside in a quiet location with views of the ocean. Beautiful beaches with terrific snorkeling are within 15 minutes. Restaurants and towns are a short drive. However the spectacular house is the draw. I lost count of the bedrooms, but there are at least 5. All rooms are spacious, private and comfortable. There is a huge roof deck decorated in great colors. Color is everywhere from the roof top to the rooms, decks, pool and interiors.

  Every inch of this property is breath taking! No detail has been overlooked in terms of convenience and comfort. The salt water pool, the amazing view and the expansive private outdoor deck created a feeling of being at a private resort.

  Our trip began with a beautiful small plane ride from the main island to Vieques, and continued to be wonderful all the way through. Departing the plane in Vieques we were greeted by Chao, the property manager of Casa de Colores. His friendly and welcoming nature was incredibly helpful as he gave us local tips on what to do, where to go and the important insider tips to the island. He and his wife were also very accessible during our entire stay there which was great. We easily got to Casa de Colores with maps of the island in hand and many ideas of what to do. The house itself is incredibly beautiful and serene. As a group of 7 we had plenty of space to relax comfortably. Casa de Colores (House of Colors) is a very appropriate name for the house. You are immediately struck by the beautiful gardens and the literally colors of the house. Although not far from town and the activity on the island, the house feels incredibly private and serene. Although I had many favorite lounging spots in the house, the terrace deck was my favorite. It is massive and well equipped for relaxing with beautiful views of the island to see from the lounge chairs or comfortable sofas. It was a common space that we gathered to relax and enjoy. The pool was also a highlight. After getting heated up in the Caribbean sun it was nice to rinse in the outdoor shower and take a dip. As well as the beautiful kitchen that we cooked many meals in. The location of Casa de Colores is also ideal. It is close by to so many beautiful beaches, a farmer's market, the bio bay tours, restaurants and more! It is the best of both worlds: accessible to activities but private enough to just simply enjoy the day there without the distractions of the outside world. I highly recommend the whole experience and would anticipate it would be ideal for many types of travelers. Thanks for a wonderful stay and an experience to remember!!

  This was one of the best vacations I have ever had!! The house was absolutely gorgeous with attention to every detail in beauty and comfort. Every amenity was available. The layout provided nicely for seclusion and inclusion as each room had it's own bathroom and shower with many spaces to relax and read. The spaciousness of the home was perfect for a large group. Looking out at the ocean and beautiful sunsets from the veranda were breathtaking. It lended itself to a fantastic vacation for our blended family of 7, then a few days alone and lastly vacationing with 3 other couples. The beaches are pristine with beautiful white sand and crystal clear water with very few people on them. Restaurants were great and varied from very reasonable and and casual to a bit more upscale. The warm breeze while eating out was delightful yet eating in was also fantanstic as grilling fish and vegetables is so easy and the setting by the pool was wonderfully relaxing. The owners are fantastic and truely enjoy knowing everyone loves this precious home as they do

  Just got back from spending a week in Vieques at this beautiful house. The photos do not do it justice - the house is comfortable, beautiful and has everything you need for the best vacation ever. We visited many of the beaches on this idyllic island - the locals are friendly and helpful - the restaurants do not disappoint - the biobay lwas like swimming in fairy dust - found our way around the entire island thanks to the great maps available in all the stores. Evan and Ellen were great - Cheo was very very helpful and gave us some great tips - I dont have enough room on this forum to go into all the details of what made this trip so wonderful - so you have to GO and see for yourself. We hope to make this a yearly vacation spot - thank you Evan and Ellen for creating such a space and for sharing it with others!! We have memories to last a lifetime!

  This is the most wonderful place I've ever stayed and I've stayed in many! The sense of peace, the beauty, the colors, the lovely breezes are marvelous. Every detail has been carefully thought out and yet it's not at all garish or over the top. Just delicious hues and private nooks and crannies are everywhere to be enjoyed. I've never been more relaxed in my life. This is truly how a vacation should feel.

  This spacious, elegant home and the incredible beaches of Vieques made this a most memorable vacation. Casa de Colores is an oasis of comfort and relaxation. Thick lush foliage of every shape and color imaginable wraps itself around the entire house - you feel like you're in your own little paradise. Patios and decks off every room with expansive views of the ocean, a swimming pool that you can actually swim in, a well-equipped kitchen, spacious bathrooms with stone and tile showers, luxurious indoor and outdoor furniture, comfortable beds and cotton sheets - the list goes on and on. A fabulous place to stay on Vieques!

  Our trip was fantastic....we had such an incredible time on Vieques..and your house....amazing! It was the perfect location to melt into at the end of each of our wonderfully adventurous days. I think we actually went to every beach (on the maps that you are able to access on unrestricted roads) except Black Sand Beach. Your house was very comfortable and the landscaping was eye candy! Sitting on the deck at night looking at the shooting stars was heavenly.(no pun intended) Thanks for such a wonderful week!

  , THANK YOU so much for your beautiful home. We had a wonderful, luxurious time in Vieques. The only hard part about the vacation was leaving your home every day to go to a glorious beach. What a problem! The colors and the space were inviting and oh so restful. Our evenings after dinner were spent on the upper deck looking at the stars, talking about the day and planning for the day to come. Again, thank you so much for all your hard work.
