  Thank you so much for the scones and gift certificate from Maggie's. What a fantastic place for brunch. I could have eaten there every day! Your house was everything I expected and more. Thank you for opening your home to us. Jill and Kristine were so nice. Turns out Kristine is the neighbor of our friends that we were visiting in Flagler. Small world! I don't know when we'll be back, but if your house is still on the rental market-it's the only place to stay!

  we go to the Florida area every year for BIKE WEEK. First time we stay in the FLAGLER area. This house has it all, Great location. It took one day and it felt like home,very clean and everything was like new. Loved having coffee on the deck while watching the waves roll in. Very friendly people in the area. The greeting we received upon arrival was amazing and treated us like family. By far this was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. Two thumbs up and Thank-you very much ...mike and family

  Your home was FABULOUS! We so enjoyed it and the beach, and especially Maggie’s. Thank you for the gift certificate, we ate there 3 times. Also the scones were delicious, thank you for those too. Don’t know if you’re familiar with the Tuscan Grille, but it was really good. I’m hoping this will be an annual trip for me and the girls, even though my sister continuously beat us in pool. We mostly played cards, but did do a St. Augustine, which we loved. All in all a GREAT time enjoying your home. We saw a couple of movie at Encore…what a nice theater! Jill. WHAT A NICE GAL! She was on top of everything, no wonder she’s your friend.

  What a great place! This home is every bit as beautiful as the pictures indicate. We had a family gathering of 10 adults here over the Thanksgiving holiday and we were very comfortably accommodated. There is plenty of room to gather together in the great room or the game room, as well as, spacious bedrooms to retreat to. The view of the ocean is awe inspiring. And, if you are a kayak fisherman, there are multiple launch spots very close to the house that are less than a 5 minute paddle to be in beautiful backwater fishing spots. (Try the park about 1.5 mi's south of Rt 100. About a 5 minute drive from the house). The home is also very convenient to Daytona and St. Augustine.

The house was exactly what is described on the website, was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The owner was so very helpful with anything we needed or any questions we had and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, laid back, relaxing vacation. Although, Flagler Beach is NOT a tourist area, you can drive small distances in any direction and find tourist attractions and still retreat back to a nice, calm, relaxing retreat to enjoy! The beach is not right out the back door but it is very easily accessed and was very clean and private! The only problem we found was that our week was way, way too short!!! Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

  This place is awesome Rich. We have been coming to this area almost 29 years. We have stayed in some nice places, but everyone agrees this is the best ever. Thanks for sharing your home. Yes, Jill did a great job. That's a whole lot better touch than other places where you have to go get a key or it is hidden somewhere, Take care!

  Words can not express how much we enjoyed our stay at this amazing property. We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend some quality family time, especially before the rush of a new school year. Having rented numerous other properties in the past, we were thrilled that there were so many things already provided here that we did not have to worry about packing! Sheets, towels, beach chairs, beach toys, dish soap, laundry detergent...it was all here! As an added bonus, all of the beds had been freshly made prior to our arrival, what a treat! We spent most of our days out on the beach. We would eat breakfast, take the 3 minute walk across the street to the ocean, and then walk back to have lunch on one of the amazing decks before heading back to the beach for the rest of the afternoon. The beach itself is top-notch and very relaxing. There is a sand bar in front of the house, so the kids loved making their way out to stand on the sand bar and splash around in the water there. We loved that on most days we could look 100 yds. in either direction and not see any other people. At times, it felt like our own private beach...doesn't get any better than that! In the evenings, the kids had a blast playing pool and air hockey in the game room wile we enjoyed a few cocktails out on the 3rd floor balcony. The views from there are just breathtaking; the perfect place for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. Since we had never been to Flagler Beach before, we also spent quite a few evenings walking the short distance (less than 1 mile) into town to explore the shops. There is an amazing ice cream shop called The Waffle Cone that we would definitely recommend! We also bought some fresh fish from Flagler Fish Co. and took it back to the house to cook in this home's beautiful kitchen. Also, if you enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, we would definitely recommend the Tuscan Grille for dinner....and be sure to get dessert there! We would like to express our gratitude to the owner for the scones from Maggie's...we all loved them and also enjoyed the sandwiches that we got there the next day, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and for being such a gracious host. We are so looking forward to a return stay here...5 stars is not enough to describe what a true gem this house and it's location are.

  Owner response: I am thrilled that you thorouhly enjoyed your stay. We always supply sheets, towels, beach chairs, beach toys, dish soap, laundry detergent and much more, and usually coffee. We would not have it any other way. Vacationers are worth it to me. Come and relax and be carefree is my motto. Isn't it great that the walk takes two minutes to get to the ocean? The beach itself is truely top-notch and very relaxing as you attest to. Many folks have agreed.. At times you very well may be the only folks on the beach. The game room is a hit for all ages. The pool table, air hockey and the foosball games are getting a good workout. The poole table was just recovered with new 23 oz. felt and new bumpers. The third floor balcony is always a hit, but now, since we trimmed the palm trees, the second floor view is just as breathtaking. Maggie's...great scones........everyone agrees. Not good for the diet but sure good. Thanks for the kind and encouraging words.... "5 stars is not enough to describe what a true gem" my house is the best compliment I had since I built my dream home. Thanks and come again.

  Hi Rich, The week of vacation was great and thanks for maintaining such a nice home. This home made a wonderful vacation retreat for my family during the 4th of July holiday week. All areas of the home are very nice from the decorations to bedding, kitchen, play area on the first floor. Everthing was thought out in detail with the outside shower on the first floor, and large bathroom on the first floor. The open living room, kitchen and dining area on the second floor is great for family gatherings. Daughter loved the bedroom on the second floor to get away from dad. The town of Flagler is great with open air markets a few days of the week and a short walk to the open air resturants from the home and beach. Made for some interesting conversation with my 21 year old daughter i.e. "Dad put a shirt one", reply "we have been on the beach for 5 hours without one, so no shirt now". I won that battle. lol The fireworks from the on the 4th of July were great as we watched from the third floor balconey. Tears were shed during "Proud to be an American". Great Memories and a great time. Thanks Mark

  Owner response: Maintenance is key. To make my home of almost three years always look new would be easy if it were not on the beach. The wind and salt are constant therefore, constant cleaning. But it is so worth it. I do have a major investment in my home and that is reason enough to keep it new looking . When my vacationers share that they notice how pristine the home is inside and outside it makes me want to do better and update things all the time. It is simply fun. I love it! You are right about the decorating being thought out.....oh boy was it!! Come again and enjoy the fireworks one more time.

  We wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at Flagler Beach. The house is awesome and was perfect for our family gathering. We loved everything about your spacious and warm home and really loved the sleepy beach and town. I have rented a lot of beach houses over the last 30 years and I have never stayed in one that came with sheets and towels provided. What a nice offering! It was also a big surprise to find a well appointed kitchen with some staples left behind including dish soap, paper towels, etc. Thank you for all the nice extra touches. The scones and gift certificate to Maggie's was quite special and it was such a treat having crepes there. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us!

  Owner response: You are most gracious and are welcome back anytime. Although there was a mishap with a young one doing some damage you quickly offered a remedy to the problem with no issue. This character is admirable and I thank you. Not only do we offer sheets, towels, soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent but we also supply friendly welcoming people to invite you in and show you around. My wonderful manager meets everyone and personally hands over the keys after answering all questions. We just placed all new sheets, comforters, pillow cases and towels throughout the house. I am thrilled that you enjoyed Maggies.

  Thank you again for the use of your lovely home. This was our 2nd time staying here, and we couldn't have been more comfortable. Tropical storm Debby didn't cooperate with us weather wise, but he game room, extended cable channels, WIFI and the extra room were just what my family needed to "weather the storm". Your house is in "like new" condition and my family just loves it. We hope we are lucky enough to try again next year! Thanks, Kim

  Owner response: I hope you come for the third time. Again you can enjoy the same rates as you did two years ago. Your family is special to me and I want to keep your expenses down so come back and enjoy the blessing again for the same money but pray for no tropical storms. I felt terrible that Tropical Storm Debbie stalled over you for three or four days. We are pleased that the game room kept everyone busy and that is was fun. The WiFi with over 250 channels seemed to have come to the rescue. I am glad I had that service installed several months ago. My house is large and does require constant care. I am glad you noticed that my home still looks like new. You would know as you have stayed before. Thanks for your kindness and the care you gave to my home...you left it in great shape.
