This luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa is located in a gated community and is situated to take full advantage of the 180 degree view looking north of the town of Rancho Bernardo and beyond to Mount Palomar in the distance. It boasts a modern kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances including a convection oven. The living room and dining area take advantage of the view as well as the kitchen. For your pleasure, there is a large flat screen TV with a dvd/cd player and music system with an extensive library. The master bedroom is en suite with a separate bath and shower, a Cal-king bed with silk bedding and has it's own private patio, large flat screen TV, DVD player and sound system. The second bedroom has an iron framed queen bed with a flat screen TV and a large picture window looking onto the courtyard entry. The villa is bright and airy with high vaulted ceilings in the living room, dining area and kitchen.
This area of San Diego is truly a golfers dream destination with several designer golf courses from which to choose. The Rancho Bernardo Inn, a five-star resort is close by and has a full service day spa and an award winning restaurant, El Biscocho. There are several Zagat rated restaurants to enjoy featuring Mexican, Indian, Persian, Japanese, Mediterranean and continental cuisine. Or just relax on the villa's private patio and cook up a juicy red steak or fresh fish on the bar-b-que.
Bernardo Heights is a planned community that hosts their own recreational facilities including Olympic size pools, Jacuzzis, table tennis, billiards, ping pong and, of course, tennis where you can take a lesson from a pro. This is all within walking distance of the villa.
Within a 30 minute drive, you can access the many beaches San Diego is known for including La Jolla and it's fabulous shopping and tide pools, Del Mar and it's race track, and Encinitas for it's beaches and antiquing. Yes! Yes! Yes! ---tastefully decorated, beautiful view and close to nature trails, hiking and good golf courses. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. Nearby restaurants that we liked: Yanni's and Cafe Merlot (at The Winery)Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities.

About the owner: I retired from real estate a few years ago and enjoy traveling the world. My interests are photography and tennis and try to incorporate these into my travels thereby dictating when and where my destinations take me. My personal motto is "mi casa es su casa" and I have shared many interesting places with family and friends. I hope through this experience I am able to meet new friends and visit new places. There are many cities around the world that I could live in but I can't think of a better place than San Diego.
