  Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a huge house with nice furnishings; however some of the furniture is rundown or broken. There was a broken chair in the master bedroom closet, the microwave handle was broken and the master bedspread was torn in several places. The house sits on a bend inn the road so it is hard to see backing out of the driveway, especially if you are there on a busy week. It is .7 mile from the beach so it is quite a walk with beach chairs, towels, etc...I had to call the management company 2 times to get an answer to the question about the gas grill. The grill is in not great shape and the renters have to supply the gas for it. If you are only staying a week it's not really worth it to fill the tank. The pool was nice but full of leaves and dirt. Kitchen was great and very well stocked. All TVs should be replaced. The two in the bedrooms stopped working after the 2nd day and the one in the family room has horrible sound problems.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I really enjoyed our time in Siesta Key. We have been visiting here for the past 20 years and it's the first time we stayed off the beach and in a house on the canal. This home was perfect for us in size and location and would recommend to anyone. But you can't stay during my time... I have already rented it again for next year!!! Thanks for another great time!!

  Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this beautiful house in November 2012 and we can just say that we loved it. Booking was easy. The house was clean and taken care of. If we had a question about something the manager replied right away to my emails. The house itself was perfect. Quiet lovely neighborhood where everyone was waving at us when we walked to the beach with our two girls. Easy walking distance to the beach (no beach sand in the car) and a nice, only slightly longer, walk to the village. Wonderful property with access to the kanals - very mediterranean feeling. Perfectly situated on Siesta Key - depending on where you're heading you take either the north or south access to the island. We loved especially the master bedroom with the nice bathroom - better than home. There is only one little thing that could be improved. Since we were staying for a month with two small kids we even cooked our own meals from time to time and we thought the kitchen was a little short on cuttlery and ordinary drinking glases. Other than that we can only highly recommend the house and the management. We have stayed in many different house during our travels and this house was one of the best!

Reviewer Comments: Pool had alot of tree and lawn materials in it. I sent an email on our irst day and we noticed that someone came and put chemicals in the pool but never vaccumed. Other than that we were happy with our stay.

  Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, but unfortunately this rental property is in much need of proper maintenance. There were loose cabinet doors in the kitchen, missing pulls on the entry hall cabinet, a broken display dish, dirty walls in several places that could easily be painted, some of the outside deck furniture was either rusted or moldy. Very sorry to have to report this, but with a property in this price range, I expected more.

The property was very nice and close to the beach. WE had a little problem with the hub tub and the lights in the pool. The sofa bed that is used as and extra bedroom is really in bad shape . My daughter were suposed to sleep there 4 and 8 years old . They were so unconfortable,you could feel the metal frame from the mattress. Besides that everything was great.

  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was not clean when we arrived the floor was dirty. The pool was green we called they sent somebody to clean it that same day. By the end of the week it was green again we called they never sent anyone. The master bedroom shade was broken so we could not open and get to see the view. The freezer was not cooling our food spoiled we reported it they never sent anyone to fix it. The trash had been there for over a week. It was full of maggots and mosquitos and spread all over the place. We had to clean a very messy area. It is misleading to claim that you get to use a gas a grill that was filthy and had no gas. We called and they said we had to fill the tank and pay for the gas which is very unfair. So if you do then the other guests get free gas. Overall we enjoyed our stay however we had way too many inconveniences. When you are on vacation you expect more things to be ready for use not having to call and do it yourself.

  Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was located in a beautiful, safe neighborhood and convient to many restaurants, shops and the public beach, our kids loved the canal out back where they could do some fishing with their grandpa and daddy. The house had sand toys already there in the garage that they loved using at the beach, the ping pong table was fun one evening since it rained most of our trip. The pool was fantastic, beautiful to look at and well maintained(we would have liked for the lion heads to work though), the covered patio out back was great for the adults to get a little shade and hang out while supervising the kids and covered us when they were swimming in the rain! HAHA There were two chairs outside in poor condition that in my opinion need thrown away and are an eyesore. One of the outdoor chairs at the table was broken, however we reported this upon leaving. The master bedroom and bath were fabulous, the other two bedrooms not so fabulous but clean and comfortable enough. The pull out sofa bed in the study was very uncomfortable, my son doesn't weigh much so he was fine but would not recommend it for adults or bigger children. The kitchen was very pretty, did have a little problem with the dishwasher latch but nothing major. Need some plastic cups or nonbreakable cups for children who may be staying there. We left some we collected at restaurants in case the next person needed them. Carpet going up the steps needs cleaned, very dirty and there was dust on the blinds and the decorative things in the house but overall I would say for the money this was a good rental and we have no major complaints.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect! It felt like home from the minute we arrived. It is just half a mile easy walk to the beach and just slightly longer to walk to the village. Perfect placement for enjoying all our favorite things about Siesta Key! In the ten years we have rented different properties, this was my favorite. Unfortunately, we did have two negative incidents during our stay. When we arrived the key was not in the lockbox. We had trouble locating an emergency number in our paperwork (thankfully the sign in the yard had it!) and it took about 20 minutes for someone to call us back and tell us where the key was. Then in the middle of our stay we had a realtor let herself in through the front door while we were relaxing out back. She had a couple with her to show the house and said the realtor told her he had notified us. Not at all!! We did not like the idea that someone could have gone through the house with all our belongings inside and without our knowledge, had we not been there. Even with those two negative circumstances, we loved the property so much that we would definitely consider staying there again!!
