  My wife and I have visited the Beaches of Gulf Shores, Destin, and Navarre Beach over the years, and have always enjoyed the sun and sand. However, I feel like we hit the lottery when we recently stayed at Peggy's condominium, at Belle-Mer in Navarre Beach. We'll certainly be coming back. We had a GREAT experience, and after working with Peggy, we're already planning our next vacation to Navarre Beach (and this condominium). My wife and I, and another couple, stayed in Peggy's unit in April 2013. This condominium is beautiful, and had it all. You're on the ground floor with a private patio that leads to the pool, hot tub, and beach. The Large 2 BR unit is updated (Kitchen and Baths included), very nicely decorated, is VERY clean, and has all the things that come in handy during your stay. It has a large washer and dryer, very comfortable / firm beds, patio furniture...and Peggy even provides the beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. The unit also has the small comforts you can appreciate when you're home, like nice hand soaps and shampoos, dish and laundry soap, books, magazines, various refrigerator condiments, and a cabinet stocked with various spices, coffee filters, and other items you hate to buy at the grocery store. Our vacation went by fast (too fast), but the sun and sand were awesome. Our beach chairs were a short walk away from our Condo doors. Peggy was very easy to communicate with and always made herself available via email or telephone. We'll be back to Navarre Beach, with family &/or friends, and certainly plan on renting this unit again.

  Peggy made renting her condo feel like you were a best friend that she was sharing her home with. It's like being in your own home but a thousand times better. She had everything you needed to be comfortable, including nice shampoos, lotions, sunscreens, a fully equipped kitchen, nice warm throws for the chilly days, nice warm tile floors in the new bathrooms, and nice comfortable beds. The condo is very nice and has plenty of room. The chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are nice amenities you don't get at all condos. She's thought of everything to make one feel comfortable and relaxed in her little piece of heaven. I would recommend it for couples or families with children, since the pool and the hot tub are right outside the door. Thank you Peggy for sharing it with us and making our 40th anniversary a memorable week!!

  We absolutely loved this condo! Peggy was wonderful. We had everything we could ask for. The access to the beach, pool and hot tub cannot be beat. We will return!

  I love this condo.This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had.This condo is very clean and you have everything there you need. The view is wonderful and the pool and hot tub are right outside the patio doors. We will definately return next year. Thank you so much Ms Peggy.

  My family and I from New Orleans have been going to Navarre Baech for over 10 years. We where fortunate enough to find this condo and have booked it every year since. I CANNOT recommend it enough. You have the most gracious of owners, very helpful to any request and the property is very well maintained and updated. You are located on the first floor directly off the pool and steps to the beach access. And as an added bonus, the owner also supplies 2 beach chairs. As for the waste of money review, they were in my opinion WAY OFF THE MARK. Any problem we incurred was delt with in a timely and efficent manner. In addition, we have never encountered any mold or "human hair". I also don't spend my vacation looking under beds for dust.... Is is an active area but we've found everyone friendly and cooperative. Noise is never an issue. Can't wait till my next trip I've already booked!!!!

  I enjoy my stay at this condo immensely it is the best place I've ever stayed at on Navarre beach, (I've stayed alot of places over the last 30 years.)Infact I've rebooked another stay for sept, I always come for Easter, but this year I had a great time so I'm going again. The condo is beatiful, and there is so much space and everything you need is there. I had my mothers 80th Birthday party there and now my family members rent the place for a week in the summer and they live there. This is as close to heaven as your going to get. Also the owner whom I've never met in person is a dream she has been the best, and listens to what you need and the next time you go its there. The place is clean and the views are to dye for, Love my vacations at the Belle Mer. Thank You

  The condo location was accurate, the appearance of the condo was was inaccurate, the property was not clean, we found dust an inch thick on the ceiling fans, the bathtub was not working, the shower had mold on the floor, we found human hair on the kitchen towels, the icebox was very dirty, the bedroom blanket smelled of sweat. Under the bed was months of dust. Over all it was not clean or maintained at all. The owner was not helpful, she did not tell us we had to have a decal on our dash, the guard put a tow sticker on our car, she was not helpful at all. No I would not recommend this property to anyone, being on the first floor was noisy, sitting on the very small patio you have to endure kids playing, hollering and noise every night you are trying to sleep. We went to Pensacola for all meals, we did not find any suitable restaurants nearby.

  Owner response: It saddens me to have crossed paths with such an unhappy person who apparently looks for trouble everywhere she turns. In the beginning I thought it was an innocent mistake. They parked in the handicapped parking space, and the night guard did not know what condo they were visiting, so he left a sticker on their car. The next morning the guest called me violently agitated about it. I thought she would have been glad the police did not tow their car. In hindsight, I should have asked them to leave the property and returned her money. Instead, I hoped she would settle down and enjoy her vacation. If the condo was in the condition she describes, she should have contacted me immediately and asked me to send the cleaning ladies back. She stayed to the very end of her scheduled visit. Three days after she returned home, I received an e-mail from her telling me the condo was unacceptably dirty and she wanted her money back. I told her no.

  Ohh my goodness, how magnificent!!! I would first like to start off by mentioning that Mrs. Peggy is one of the most wonderfully warm & charming persons you will ever want to do business with...secondly; she provides any & every item you'll need during your stay, as if you were in your own home...in fact, Mrs. Peggy makes you feel like you're a part of her family...& last but not least, take a step over that threshold into those breathtaking views!...aahhh...words cannot express those views...everytime I think about them, there's a smile on my face! The pool is an arm's length away from the spacious patio of this condo & the private beach is only a minute away. My kids loved that amenity! We were about 10mins drive from most shops & some restaurants, and only 5mins away from Walmart...basically everything is @ your finger tips! I would definitely refer friends and family to Mrs. Peggy...she's totally delightful!

  Wow! Peggy is a woman of her word. Best condo on Navarre Beach! She has such a beautiful condo and it was stocked with so many needed items. We absolutely loved being on the first floor. The view was still amazing but being able to walk right out to the pool was the best ever! The beaches were not overcrowded and the shells we found were so numerous and absolutely beautiful. Eating at Stinky's was great and I highly recommend the crawfish pie! Peggy was available at any time to answer our questions and got back to us within minutes of an email! I cannot say enough positive things about Peggy or her condo. You just need to take my word and stay there. I know we will definitely be back! Thanks again Peggy. You go above and beyond to make sure your guests are happy which is so obvious in more ways than one!

  When Peggy says she has "everything you need" she means it. Our trip was absolutely wonderful. The first 2 days were rain soaked but the games and puzzles came in handy to pass the time. The condo was very clean and well stocked. Peggy was the best hostess and gave us very good suggestions on things to do and places to eat. I would have to HIGHLY recommend eating at Stinky's Fish Camp at the other end of the bridge. The crawfish pie was to die for! We cannot wait to plan another trip to stay at Peggy's place again.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.
