We are located directly ON THE GULF OF MEXICO exactly one mile west of Pensacola Beach Pier. No roads to cross to get to the beach! You literally step out the sliding glass door of our condo and onto the beautiful white beach. You'll have 1,700 sq feet of open, bright and airy accommodations that includes a fully equipped kitchen, all bath and bed linens, washer/dryer, two private balconies and complimentary wireless internet.
Our quiet piece of paradise is directly on beautiful, non-crowded Pensacola Beach and is ideal for strolling or long runs, swimming, surfing, kite flying, dolphin watching, shelling and fishing. Just across the street is a great local's hangout Peg Leg Pete's - known for their seafood, oysters and nightly music. There are other great restaurants nearby - Hemingways, Flounders & Grand Marlin to name a few. A 10 minute drive into downtown Pensacola will give you a myriad of restaurants like McGuires Irish Pub, Dharma Blue, Fish House and Jackson's.
Our condo is two stories. Stairs are inside the unit. An elevator is located at the west end of the building and allows access to both floors without having to take the stairs. If you have family members with special mobility needs, please contact us for more information.
Upstairs, there is a king bed in the master bedroom and queen in the second bedroom. Both upstairs bedrooms have private full bathrooms. Downstairs there is one bedroom with a bunk bed set and a twin bed. There is a full bath that opens to to the hallway. The kitchen and living room are also located on the first level. All the bath towels and bed linens you will need are provided.
The living room and master bedroom open onto private balconies where you can enjoy the beautiful ocean views and sea breezes. You'll be assured a good night's sleep with the tranquil sound of the waves.
We keep our kitchen stocked with all essential equipment and tools. Kid-friendly dishes are included. A stop at the grocery store on your way to the beach - and you are set!
Wireless internet is complimentary throughout the condo. If you cannot break away from the TV - we have flat screen TV's in each bedroom and a TV/DVD player in the living room.
We have kids and know what makes a vacation easier: Pack -n- Play and high chair are available for your youngsters but please request in advance. We keep an assortment of kid DVDs and kid games on hand, along with beach toys that you are welcome to use.

My brother & family & my family came in for a friends wedding being held on the beach so we decided to make a mini vacation of the event and found this location on HomeAway. There were several locations to choose from but Lori's quick response and helpfulness sealed the deal. The condo was very well furnished and decorated. Home away from home (no punn intended) Great view & a few steps from the beach. Close to the busy part of town but far enough away to enjoy yourself with kids or just a quite weekend with someone special. Would definitely recommend to anyone.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

An overwhelming sense of sadness swelled within me as the superfine white sands of the Gulf of Mexico tickled my toes on the last day of my visit October 2012. On this magical morning I was greeted with howling-healing winds, the constant rolling thundersounds of the crashing waves and the most majestic sunrise I have ever been invited to. My friends and I just graduated and decided to spent time together before we part our ways, and was blessed to be able to spend it at this marvelous place, all the picture that can be seen from the site is real, but nothing like experiencing and seeing them for our selves. Once again another wonderful vacation on Pensacola Beach. We enjoyed our stay @ the Seahorse. It's our favorite place to stay. Very clean, nicely decorated & family friendly. Peg Leg Pete's & Tom Thumb being directly across the street is a plus also. We eat @ Peg Leg Pete's every night while on vacation. Nice staff, great service & delicious food. The owners of this unit are wonderful to rent from. Very nice people that live in some of the other units @ the Seahorse we enjoy visiting with each year while on vacation. Returning to reality after staying here is REALLY TOUGH :-) Can't wait til' next time. Thanks for opening up your home to share with others. It is great!!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!! The view is spectacular. We saw dolphins several mornings. The condo is super and decorated in bright beachy colors. I love the Pensacola prints. Our stay in Pensacola was wonderful. Hemmingway's restaurant is a favorite. The NeSmith's are very helpful and easy to work with. Excellent!!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We have been staying at this condo for several years. Couldn't think of staying anywhere else. It's so close to the beach and away from most of the traffic. It is beautifully decorated and well kept up. Lori and Alan are great people, who would do everything possible to make your stay great. You couldn't ask for nicer people or a nicer condo on the most beautiful beach in Florida. We love it and plan on coming back here for many more years.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family of six loves to go to the beach every year for the 4th of July. We have been to Cancun, Myrtle Beach, Destin, Wilmington, and others, but this was by far the best stay yet. The home was the perfect size of us. Everything we needed was provided like beach umbrellas and nets for shelling finding and wine glasses. The view was awesome and you can hear the waves from the master and the living room. Dining and groceries were within walking distance but you can also take the trolley to the boardwalk. Pensacola was close but you wouldn't need to go into town because everything is provided. We loved the home and hope to return soon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Pensacola Beach is a wonderful vacation spot, but staying at the Seahorse made it perfect! Thanks to Lori and Alan for sharing such a warm and relaxing home. The three bedrooms are all spacious, and the colors and decor are refreshing! I love all the art work you have on the walls, and how it tells the story of Pensacola in such an enjoyable way. The location of the condo is perfect. Santa Rosa Island is a small area, and the condo is close enough to everything, but just far enough from the epicenter of the traffic. Having the convenience store across the street is handy...and of course, Peg Leg's is a great place to eat, drink, and listen to music. I cannot express how hard it was to leave!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the condo for a second time. We were so glad it was available. The accommodations are superb. The view from both the living room and master bedroom is breathtaking and relaxing at the same time. We feel so 'at home' there. Of course the beach is beautiful and the moonlight on the water is truly an added bonus if it is a full moon. I cannot think of a better beach experience we have ever had.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

On Pensacola Beach, it is very unique to be able to walk out the sliding glass door and onto the beach without having to cross a road or take a elevator. Most beach-side lodging are hotels or large condo buildings. We love Seahorse because it is quiet, private and laid back. Having your own home away from home on the beach is very special.
