  My family and I had an awesome stay. Photos cannot capture the true greatness of this rental. Property was clean and well maintained. Brandon was extremely helpful during our stay and was a pleasure to work with. He was very easy to reach and promptly returned phone calls. Beds are extremely comfortable and the shower in the master bath is HUGE! GREAT THEATER ROOM! 2 LARGE DECKS WITH GREAT VIEWS! Picnic table, rocking chairs and swing on upper deck make for a great place to dine outside or just enjoy the views. Great location between Pigeon Forge and Wear Valley. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

  This was our 2nd stay at you wonderful cabin and again we had a great time. My only negative concern is the cookware. I cooked most of the meals in. It was definately a challenge and took some creative thinking to be able to prepare a meal for 8 with what I had to work with. There are a few pots and pans, but, I'm sorry, you need to throw that stuff away, the teflon coating is chipping, I was afraid to use them. I made pancakes and grill chesse on a pizza pan. Cooked spaghetti sauce in the oven in a pyrex dish. Made gravy in an extra coffee pot in the microwave to name a few of my creative ideas. I would love to see some stainless cookware, serving dishes,plastic ware for leftovers, crock pot and maybe a frydaddy. I know alot of people don't use the kitchen except for maybe snacks and sandwiches so they would be fine with what is there. Our splurge is staying in your wonderful cabin with only eating out a limited number of times. And again, this is not a complaint, I hate to say anything. I had thought that when we come back I would just pack some cookware. After thinking on this I decided to let you know my concerns because someone else may have experienced this same thing. Thanks

  Owner response: Thanks for your comments re: cookware. We usually review and upgrade about once a year. Perhaps we should review our inventory more often. I can't promise we will provide a crockpot or fry daddy but we will certainly look into it! And we will get rid of the chipped teflon pans.

  The listing for this cabin was on target! It was clean, well-maintained and furnished with just the right touches! We, (myself, husband, daughter and grandpuppy) felt safe in the gated community and it was so peaceful....neighbors on both sides.. Never heard them at all :) The weather was too cold to take advantage of the wonderful porches, but the many windows afforded a great view! We had never stayed in the Wears Valley area before but now consider it to be THE place to stay and specifically in Hideaway Dreams! Thank you, Scott and family for allowing us to share in your "dreams" of being tucked away from the pains of life for a few days! We will return as often as able to Hideaway Dreams! A tip for those who like to cook, at least some of the time, bring a few pots and a frying pan! Not a big deal as I always bring my fryer and griddle wherever I go, because we like to eat breakfast in. Rent Hideaway Dreams! You won't be sorry, I can assure you!!

  This cabin was everything it claimed to be!! We so enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home. The gated community allowed us to feel safe (girls weekend). We only left cabin one day because we didnt need to leave to enjoy ourselves. So much to do, with pool table, theatre.... I could have stayed on the porches all day!! Wonderful cabin, wonderful management, and cannot wait to go back again soon!!!

  Our extended family usually gathers in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area about once every 2 years, and we're always looking for bigger and better places to stay. This cabin was fantastic, fitting all 10 of us just right. It is very well decorated and equipped, except you may want to bring a large skillet or griddle if you really want to cook for everyone all at once; there are plenty of smaller pans and skillets, but we're glad we brought the griddle from home so pancakes didn't take all morning. There is lots to do nearby, including ziplining as well as gem mining, fishing, and horseback riding at a dude ranch about 2 miles up the road. There is a Kroger for groceries about 6 miles away, and although that may be more than we were used to after staying near the Parkway the last 2 times, we didn't mind the drive as the neighborhood is very small and quiet. It is also easy to get to Cades Cove from the cabin, which worked out great as we ended up taking a large family picture on one of the porches of the rustic cabins in the loop. Overall, we were sad to leave the quiet and comfort of this place. Scott (the owner) and Brandon (the property manager) were easy to get a hold of when needed prior to our rental, and since everything was as promised, we didn't need to contact them during our stay.   My husband and I spent a week at Hideaway Dreams and look forward to going back in the future. the cabin was very clean, had plenty of room and was everything the listing reflected. The cabin is set in a gated community, so you are a little more secluded. the porch was awesome - allowing us to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors while still having a slight view of the mountains through the trees (it is obvious fall and winter provide a better view of the mountains). The size of the house is perfect for a larger group, we recognized for the two of us it was more than plenty, but loved the option of enjoying movies in the theater, sitting outside on one of the two deck areas and having the hot tub to relax our legs in after hiking for several days straight. Hideaway Dreams was perfect for us and we look forward to returning and bringing family with us in the future.

  One word describes Hideaway Dreams - fabulous! The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, & the kitchen is fully stocked. We have traveled to the Smokies for years & find Hideaway Dreams to be the best! The dogs loved it too. We will most definitely return.

  This cabin is incredible, our third rental in TN and by far the best. Photos are merely a hint of what to experience. The location is perfect, convenient to everything. We loved that it was in a private, gated community (no resort). The huge paved parking for 4+ vehicles was very much needed and enjoyed. Inside was spotless, and more luxurious than we expected. Our party of 12 had more than enough room to enjoy and lounge in comfort. Bottom level was the hot spot for everyone, especially the kids, with pool table, wet bar,refrigerator, full bath, and above all a theater room, that's an experience itself! We also enjoyed every bedroom having a flatscreen w/every available channel. Outside had huge covered decks that offered a charcoal grill, hot tub, swings, and a row of rockers to enjoy the breathtaking mountain views! Owner/Mgr were very nice, laid back, and accommodating. Can't emphasize enough had great the location is. A short, scenic 15min ride (newly paved rd) passes right by a huge zipline facility and leads to the pkwy at the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg line! Absolutely no disappointments! Would recommend this cabin to anyone. There's more to do than you can possibly imagine. We did the zipline, white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking and more. Cades Cove is always beautiful, ride the ski lift or space needle for a great view of Gatlinburg and while you're there, eat at Bubba Gump's! Thanks again for a first class vacation, we're already planning for next year!

  We were able to spend great family time with our three young girls and our parents without ever really feeling like we had to leave. ( But when we did it was close to everything we did want to do. ) The kitchen was great for cooking. The theater and pool table were great entertainment for all of us. There was enough space that we could find quiet time somewhere, the swing on the deck looking at the mountains or downstairs by the fireplace were my favorite. Even when we needed assistance on some maintenance issues it was handled so timely and considerately that it didn't feel like an inconvenience. Very relaxing getaway for us and we heard our girls say more than once that it was "the best cabin ever and they did not want to leave". Thanks for sharing your home with us!
