  The previous review is correct, the photos don't do it justice. A wonderful home- clean, neat, everything updated with all that you need to make your stay perfect. The lake is quiet and right there- just a few steps to the dock. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to be back!

  PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE!!!!!! My family and friends had a great time on this trip. The house was Perfect.... everything that you need for a great vacation was at your finger tips. Michele was so helpful and generous.... We will be back soon, very soon......

  The pictures truly do not do this house justice. The convenience and views of the lake are wonderful. The house is comfortable and tastefully updated. We had plenty of room for the 12 of us. My husband and I really appreciated the master bedroom with it's king size bed, chase lounge, large bathroom and HD TV. The owners have been delightful and very accomodating. We had a great week.

  Our family of 11 spent a week at this beautiful lake home as we came together to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We loved being on a lake (we spent our honeymoon on a lake in WI) and Lake Oconee is a very lovely area. The home is very spacious and comfortable - plent of room for all of us. It is nicely decorated, very clean, and well supplied - especially with kitchen items and towels. (The only little suggestion we could make would be to increase the lighting in the kitchen to make it a little brighter) The dock and the lake were popular places for the kids (ages 10 to 16) and adults as well. The paddle boat was a real hit with the 10 and 11 year olds. We caught a few fish but not enough (or big enough) to provide dinner for us. We celebrated our anniversary at the Ritz for dinner and it was a very lovely atmosphere. The owners were very helpful and were easy to work with. All in all it was a very relaxing week and fun for us all to be together. We would recommend "Serenity" highly - it made for some very special memories for us.

  This hidden gem was a great place to spend our time with friends and family over a week. The house is amazing with plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. The photos dont do this property justice, its much better in person. The lake house was totally clean and set up for us to take over. The owner was/is very easy to get ahold of an answered all of our questions. The lake views were beautiful and the neighbors were gracious as well, offering us a ride on their pontoon boat around the lake. The fire pit added to the fun with some hot dog roasting and smores. The paddle boat was fun for the kids and dads to spend some time together. The home is a little out of the way but that made it much more enjoyable for the whole family for the peace and quiet. I will for sure stay in touch with the owners and make this place a regular on our list of places to stay on vacations. Next time I will plan to fish more and get on the water more... Thanks so much for such a beautiful home. This house is a must see and once you do you will not want to go anywhere else.

  Our family stayed here for the Labor day weekend. We had a rather large group but with all the bedrooms and porch space there was plenty of room to sprawl out and let the kids run around. The dock was perfect for our boat and the kids loved feeding the fish off the dock morning, noon and night. The owners were wonderful to work with and even answered a few email questions for me while we were there. All in all, it was an excellent experience and we hope to be back soon!

  The house was very spacious and comfortable. The area was great and quiet. Near the jumping rock which the kids loved! The open water was not near as busy as other areas. The area by the docks was shallow enough for the small kids to stand and play. The owners were very easy to work with. I only have a couple of small disappointments. In only one of the bathrooms the grout seemed a little moldy, and the porches needed a good pressure washing or to be blown off, also there were a few nails on the walkway and dock that needed nailing down so as not to stub your toe. Nothing or great concern though. I highly recommend this house!!

  Owner response: Thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay and that you found the 5 bedroom, 4 full bath home large enough to accomodate 14 guests for the long weekend. As for the concerns mentioned above: Grout in the bathroom mentioned was actually not moldy but is slightly darker than original grout due to a repair job and the challenge associated with try to match existing custom grout colors. Nails due tend to pop-up as boards expand and contract with moisture and heat. Any nails that were popped up have been reset. The deck has been swept, pressure washed and ready to be stained later this summer.
