This beautiful new condo has all new furnishing and is a comfortable getaway for the winter snowbirds and other special vacations. This second level condo is easily accessed via its own private elevator. The spacious living area offers a glass wall to the lanai with an overlooking view of the canal. The 50 inch high definition plasma flat panel television is equipped with cable programming for all your favorite shows. A single car garage keeps your vehicle nice and cool during the day.
The fully equipped kitchen with granite breakfast bar is fantastic. Plenty of cabinet space and a full set of cooking utensils. The kitchen also includes a coffee maker, toaster, can opener, microwave, oven with cook-top, refrigerator with ice maker, and dishwasher. Beautiful cabinets and plenty of room to stay at home when you are not enjoying the many fine restaurants in the area.
The master bedroom offers a 32 inch high definition lcd flat panel television, private bath with double vanity sinks. A jetted tub is perfect for relaxing and the walk in shower is spacious. There is also easy access to the lanai to watch the boats go by or the sun setting. The pillow top mattress helps drift easily to sleep.

We had a wonderful month in this condo that the video so accurately portrayed. The furniture is very comfortable. We're convinced that this is very important to make the condo feel like home. The condo was also very clean and well maintained. This was very important to us. Punta Gorda is a beautiful, quiet place to vacation. There are many parks along the harbor with wonderful walking and biking paths. This town has many restaurants and cultural events. It's very close to larger cities for those who choose that atmosphere, too. The owners were conscientious and friendly people. They were very quick to respond to our questions. We give the owners, the condo and the city very "high marks" for providing us with a great experience.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo for the month of April. Upon arrival we found the condo to be exactly as it was pictured online. It is in close proximity to the downtown area which is very quaint. It is also in walking distance to lovely Fisherman's Village although we drove there, grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. Although the pool was covered most of the time we used it, it did keep the water warm since the nights were cool. For novices like ourselves who don't own a pool, a crank or some type of pulley would make it easier to take it off to use. The elevator was very handy to bring up our luggage and boxes. We found all the necessities we needed as per cooking and cleaning supplies. The owners were available by phone to answer our questions. This area is nice and quiet and a great place to relax but also to have fun. We will recommend staying there to our friends. A couple of Mainers who enjoyed our time in sunny Florida and Punta Gorda Isles.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Beautiful property but not easy access to water and poorly managed. Pool was covered everytime we went to use it. Upon arrival, the condo was not ready for us (A/C turned off, water heater off--which we discovered the next morning when I needed to shower). We discovered a note in the laundry closet instructing the cleaning people to do this, even though we were due to arrive the day after they cleaned (???) The garage door opener never worked right the entire month we were there. We had trouble with the elevator immediately which means we had to walk up a flight of stairs everytime we came into the condo. We literally got trapped in it the first time we used it. Anyone elderly or disabled would need this elevator. When we addressed these problems with owners, we were told to talk to their "agent" (real estate office who held keys). Mgr. of real estate office told us that the owners were not paying for property management so we were out of luck. Renters beware of this one.Owner response: We deeply regret that our guest had so many difficulties during their stay. We did have some miscommunication with the cleaning crew who turned off the hot water and a/c when they should not have and we appreciate our guest’s feedback, this has been corrected. The garage door opener has been inspected and is working properly; the battery on the remote opener was failing. As we are vacation property owners and do not live near the property we asked our guest to have the battery replaced at a nearby ACE Hardware, at our expense $4.86. She felt that this was too much to ask and refused to replace the battery but never informed us. The battery has now been replaced. The elevator has been inspected and is working properly; the guests prior to her arrival and after have reported no problems. The canal is directly behind the condo, I am not sure how access could be easier. If you have questions we would be happy to forward more pictures. The pool cover is a solar cover to help keep the heat in the water; it is easily removed and is always left on when the pool is not in use. Like many VRBO owners we do not have a property manager on site, this is a vacation home for us, if there is an emergency we have a handy man available to make repairs 24 hours a day but this is not a hotel. We do not have an agent at the real estate office; this was explained but maybe never fully understood by our guest. This just happened to be where the keys were picked up. We hope that this guest finds a nice place to stay somewhere else next year. We have found her comments do not fairly represent our property and have been maliciously exaggerated. We only wish there was a website to help owners screen for guests like these. Maybe someone will make a small fortune with that idea. We have tried to make this condo a welcoming and comfortable place to escape the winter or enjoy the summer. This is our third season renting and our first complaint. We recognize how this guests comments reflect and hope many others who stay here will leave positive comments in the future. Please come and see for yourself. Thanks The Owners

WE WERE HERE FEBRUARY, THE CONDO IS GREAT !!! OWNERS HAVE DONE A WONDERFUL JOB OF FURNISHING THIS CONDO. FURNITURE IS GOOD LOOKING, AND VERY COMFORTABLE, BEDS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE ALSO .I CAN'T THINK OF ONE THING OWNERS HAV E FORGOTTEN TO DO !!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

About the owner: My husband and I have been in the optometric business for the last 35 years. We are both from Texas but have been transplanted to Oklahoma. We are looking forward to spending the winters in warm sunny Florida.
