There is a canoe available. The water is 6' deep at the end of the dock. Pat and Owen, This is our fifth trip to Seneca Lake, and by far, this is the best place that we have ever stayed in. The house is great, the view is SPECTACULAR, and the stars at night by the lake are Breathtaking. Sorry we missed visiting with you....Will just have to catch up next time.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Pat and Owen, Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home for a long weekend. Pat, it was lovely to meet you-you and your home are warm and inviting. We cannot say enough about how lovely this home is-warm, comfortable, homey...EVERYTHING you can possibly need is here. We love the wildlife-blue birds, blue jays, ( & others) and deer. We spent a great deal of time on the deck-soaking in the peace and serenity. Dancing under the stars was as romantic as it gets. Three days was not long enough! We can't wait to return. Thank you again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Had a wonderful time in your idyllic holiday home. We take so many memories back to England with us: the view, peace and quiet, the deer on their 'run' past the house....and the fact that our 3 children of 21,19 and 18 were kept wonderfully entertained in the canoe, swimming, playing ping pong-and the family games of monopoly. We don't want to leave! Thank you , Pat and Owen, for putting so much thought into making the house so 'special'.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thanks so much. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and VERY clean. Everyone kept commenting on that. We also loved the location, as it was very centrally located and yet it had so much space of its own, so you felt very private. We also LOVED the deck! It was a spectacular time and thanks so much for being so nice and accommodating.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We rented the Buttonwood for our very own 40th High School Reunion. There were six of us girls and we found the house clean, comfortable and very well equipped with just about everything one would need. We especially enjoyed the deck and of course, the wonderful view. Between the Windmill, wineries, and Watkins Glen, we had plenty to do. Thank you for a very enjoyable 3 days and thank you, Diane, for all your help with our reservation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Maxwell had a terrific 8th birthday. Buttonwood view can not be beat. This is the most peaceful place we have been to in years. Loved being on the dock as well. So enjoyed the extras, the bbq grill, especially the late night ping pong tourney. Thank you so much.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

A beautiful place to call "home" for several days. We appreciated all the special conveniences and provisions. The area is SO beautiful...The boat ride today gave us special appreciation of viewing everything from the water. The winery visits were a lot of fun. We enjoyed having a one-on-one visit with our son and daughter who live away from our town.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
