  My family and I visited Costa Rica for the first time during the Thanksgiving Holiday. We broke up our week and stayed at two different houses within the country. We now wish we just stayed at Casa Tranquiladad. It was beautiful, spacious and more than we expected. We arrived into the country late on a dark rainy night. The house manager was ready to greet us and make sure we were settled in. It was clean, elegant and had all the amenities for a family to enjoy. It was well organized with a binder of recommendations for activities, tours and restaurants. The house manager was available to assist with coordinating it all including a rental car. One can enjoy a relaxing day at the house or schedule a day out in Manuel Antonio. It was perfect for our family. I highly recommend it to friends and will definelty stay again when we return!

  I have to first say i had no idea how much i would love Manuel Antonio and the wonderful house we stayed in. I certainly hope to return sometime soon. The accomodations at Casa Tranquilidad were wonderful from the peaceful setting and serenity to the beautiful grounds and ocean views. Myra was quite pleasant and Ollie was helpful for Entertainment ideas and setting up activities for us. The interior of the house is as nice as outside, from the well equiped kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and the quite spacious entertainment room on the pool level. Also the pool, jacuzzi, waterfall and patio bar-b-que areas are spectacular. Thanks and hope to return soon.

  Three adults and four kids (ages 16 -11) stayed at the beautiful Casa Tranquilidad. What a treasure! It was an adventure getting back to the house with the narrow, winding roads, but made for a wonderful hike each morning. We would definitely recommend renting your own car though. We all loved the serenity and beauty of this house. Plenty for the kids to do with the beautiful pool and game room, yet they loved relaxing on the sofa on the terrace to read a book as well. Ollie, the house manager, and Mayra, the house keeper, were so helpful and pleasant. They went out of their way to ensure that our trip was memorable. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental. We hope to come back again some day. Pura Vida!

  From the winding mountain road, the huge wooden gate opened to a beautiful home away from home. Everything was perfect! There are areas where groups can be together - the pool, the outdoor grill area, the upstairs deck, the fabulous kitchen and bar - and still plenty of places to get away from the crowd. I already have friends scheduling time here. The housekeeper was exceptional. We always saw something new on the short drive down the mountain to the beach. The restaurant under the trees and right on the beach has wonderful omelets for breakfast, and fish tacos for lunch. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to try all the marvelous food at Aqua Azul Restaurant on top of the mountain. The National Park was quite an adventure. The sunset from the sea wall in Quepos was amazing. We can't wait to go back.
