Hello and Welcome to Annapolis!
We are only renting our home for Commissioning Week 2014 or 2015. Again, we do not rent out our home other than commissioning week.
We purchased this home January 2010. We are in the heart of downtown historic Annapolis. We are steps from the US Naval Academy (really just steps): a one minute walk to Gate 3, a 2 minute walk to Gate 1, and directly across from the Chapel. The Marine Corps Stadium is 1 mile away, and a plesant walk on a nice day (and faster than driving through the graduation traffic!).
All the great restaurants, historic sights and shops in the historic district are within a five minute walk, including Ego Alley, where the boats come in to dock. Whether it's an authentic Maryland Seafood dinner, Steak House or Irish Pub, Annapolis has it covered... and you can leave your car parked in the driveway.
The home has been beautifully renovated in every room. We have 5 off-street parking spots and a beautifully landscaped backyard with a patio and grill where you can host a lovely party for your Midshipman.
Inside, there is a "cook's kitchen" complete with gas stove, and breakfast bar. A formal dining room table seats 10 and the adjoining living room boasts a leather queen-sized sleeper sofa, cozy gas fireplace and a state of the art flat screen TV with a blueray DVD player. There is also a sun porch overlooking King George Street - the perfect place to wake up with your morning coffee!
On the second floor, there is an over-sized Master Bedroom and private bath with a king bed, and two additional bedrooms with a pair of twin beds and a double bed, respectively, as well as another full bathroom.
