  • Gails Wailea Escape is truley that. The aparment and studio were beautiful and and pristine on our arrival. Gail has been a great hostess and can she can be compared to the best concierge. Her time and effort to provide the best locations for stores,shopping and recreation were excellent. We recommend highly the tree top apartment or studio while in Maui.We also recommend seeing a show with dinner as an option to Warren and Annabelles in Lahaina. It was one of the best shows we ever had ever seen and a must see while in Maui.Check it out on line. I trust we will be back again and hope to revisit tree top as our base. The canoe club rowing on Tuesday & Thursday was a great highlight for us both for exercise and turtle watching and came as a suggestion by Gail. Not enough words to tell all on our stay but Gail you made it a joy. Thanks Bob & Doreen Grenus

  • We found the Tree Top condo to be EXACTLY what we were looking for in our Maui vacation. Fully stocked with everything from a complete kitchen to beach gear, the condo allowed us to get right down to vacationing and serve as a fantastic home-base for our many daily adventures! It was wonderful to be able to feel like we had a home away from home on the beautiful island of Maui. Gail communicated clearly and efficiently with us about our stay, complete with excellent local suggestions for dining and activity. The location of the condo was perfect for our travel style including both nearby high-end outings as well as low-key adventures. As seasoned travelers, we would highly recommend these accommodations! We’ll be back!

  • Gail & Leon were very helpful right from the initial communication on VRBO Their TreeTop Apartment at the Grand Champions in Wailea is perfect for so many reasons you won't even notice until you get there. First of all, the Grand Champions is sensationally situated just above the Shops at Wailea, right off the main road, yet is still easy walking distance to the shops and beaches. Secondly, within the Grand Champions, their unit is ideally located against trees and extremely close to the entrance, for maximum beauty and convenience. Inside the unit, the pictures they shared didn't do it justice. It's upgraded and refined where it counts, with an awesome kitchen and beautiful bathroom that features a stand up shower and a tub. The bed was perfect and a really cool design, TV's were featured in both the bedroom and main room and they had free access to High Speed Internet. Finally, the lanai backs up to WONDERFUL flora and fauna, and features a lovely outdoor table/chair set for you to enjoy each morning and evening. I can't recommend this unit and these owners enough, and I work on Maui so I see a lot of bad stories. This is a truly great one.

  • I stayed for 7-nights and I highly recommend this unit! This is a very clean, comfortable and peaceful 1 bed/1 bath unit. Everything is provided along with little extras which made my stay so nice. Beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The bed and linens were so nice and provided me with a weeks worth of good sleep! The unit and Grand Champion complex is quite with pleasant tropical grounds. Nice amenities and location. It was a lovely and relaxing unit and trip. I would stay here again or in another of Gail and Leon's units. Gail and Leon are warm with a great aloha spirit.

  • Loved it--the location (walking to the Shops at Wailea for coffee and the beach walk and a short drive to Kihei for restaurants), the amenities (beach chairs and towels, a king size bed, all my cooking needs), and the close proximity of beaches (Big Beach). A great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful flowers and sunny days.

We really enjoyed the view from the lanai into the garden with the colourful leaves of the bougainvilleas and the blooming tuliptrees used as sleeping trees for the mynas and a sort of laughing jack. What a sound every morning and night!!! But the best was the Hawai'ian interior of the apartment with all the goodies for a welcome and the full kitchen with all the equipment we have got at home. So, we really felt "at home" at once, although we live in Germany (very cold at the moment). We'll recommend your place and may be back some time. A hui hou! Aloha Heidrun and Gerd
