  My wife and I really enjoy Mexico and in particular Playa Del Carmen. This condo is located in what we feel is the best area of Playa; the up and coming northern area, very close to 5th Avenue. There are ample restaurants and shops and it's very close to the beach. Almost perfect. The condo itself was great. Very clean and well stocked. The second bathroom upstairs was a nice touch. The one small downside (very small) is that the bed could be a king size and could be more comfortable. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our vacation and the condo made it that much better. We recommend it to anyone.

  The condo was very confortable, close to everything, very quiet and secure. We enjoyed the rooftop. Two chairs and an umbrella would have been appreciated to use on the beach. The beach clubs are fine now and then but are expensive and very crowded. Some play very loud music, we prefer to hear the sound of the waves and also since the condo is close to the beach, we preferred to have our lunch there. It was a wonderful experience.

  Overall, our experience was very good. Great locale; quiet and safe neighborhood and yet an easy walk to town and the beach. The nearby La Cueva del Chango is a great spot for breakfast, as recommended by the owner. The Haab Condo itself is very quiet and the unit has a lot of privacy. This is a nice rental for an independent couple, who want to explore Playa del Carmen and the surrounding areas, and have a spacious place to come home to. It is well maintained and has adequate amenities for a comfortable stay. Having an en suite washer/dryer makes for lighter packing requirements, a real plus for us! The only SLIGHT issue we had was a showerhead that dripped a little after the water was off, but we're really reaching here for any real criticisms. It certainly didn't ruin my stay! We definitely would stay here again, when in Playa del Carmen!

  Wow , we just came back from a 10 day stay in this condo,all was super, from the comunucation from day 1 with Chris, till leaving to go home again,super clean place with all the comforts from home,did not miss anything it was all there,and so close to everything and such a quiete and safe neighbourhood,The building it selve is gorgeous to,very modern,clean and safe,I agree on all above statements how great it is to stay in this place,and so tru what there all saying,securty,cleanless,its home away from home,,for sure one day we will return,thanks Chris,Rudolfo rep for Ana,he was super in explaining how things worked etc and thanks to Chris for giving us so much usefull information regarding Playa,it sure helped us to get around,Viva La Playa

  We have nothing but good things to say about this condo. Arriving at the airport, we missed the bus we had planned to take and were late arriving (tried several times to contact the property manager to let her know, but we had the wrong first couple of digits of her phone #...) Her assistant waited for well over an hour for us to let us inside and hand over the key. If it were me, I would have given up! The inside of the condo had all the amenities we'd hoped for...stainless steel kitchen appliances, good knives, a flat screen TV (with some English channels), a small cooler to take to the beach, a washer/dryer,iPod dock, hairdryer, iron (I know we were on vacay, but sometimes you just need a 'sharpening up'!), beach towels,a safe, a jacuzzi (NOT a hot tub, lol) , a super comfy bed, and it was so very clean! The only view is really from the rooftop, but we spent most all the days out and about anyway. It was quiet(very important!) and a quick walk to Mamita's beach and everything else you could possible want on 5th, 10th, and beyond! It was kinda buggy when we were there (mosquitoes, not the crawly kind!) so we wished there were screens on the windows so we could keep them open at night, but the ceiling fans worked well, and we never had to turn on the AC at all. We were sad to leave, and hope to be able to stay here even longer next time!

  We enjoyed our stay in Playa del Carmen in the Haab condo. Great location, clean, secure, quiet and close to the beach. Easy access to stores, restaurants and a quick walk to our favorite yoga studios. The rooftop was a highlight especially in the mornings while we enjoyed a cup of coffee and a book. Most definitely will consider staying there again.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier. The condo is beautiful, spacious, quiet and very private. We loved the roof top jacuzzi with a view of the ocean and the condo had everything we could possibly need. The location was another big bonus, just a short walk to a beautiful beach and to 5th Ave where all the action is. The owner Chris and his property manager Ana were extremely helpful and were quick with helpful responses to any questions that we had. Once we booked the place Chris emailed us very detailed descriptions of the area, points of interest and reviews for many of the restaurants, beach clubs and nightlife in the area. It was a perfect vacation. We can't wait to go back and stay here again.

  This place was great and much more than what we expected. The pictures simply don't do it justice. It was secure, quiet, clean, spacious and the roof top was amazing with views of Cozumel off in the distance. There are no high rise hotels in Playa so you pretty much have one of the best vantage points in all of town from the roof. We were surprised to find out that there was a 1/2 bath on the roof top and a nice washer & dryer which was very convenient to have. The pool is a bit small, but who needs that when you have a very nice jungly 5 minute walk to the beach! The pool, however, did have a small outdoor shower which was great for washing off your sandy feet. One of the things I loved most was the location. It was more at the edge of the craziness of downtown Playa, away from all of the shops trying to sell you imitation silver or cheesy tshirts, but still an easy walk to everything. We thought we might cook a bit in the really nice kitchen (has everything you would need and there's a small market near by), but there's a tremendous variety of restaurants in the area that were too enticing to pass up. Try La Cueva del Chango for an awesome breakfast in a jungle setting or Kool Fish with the best ceviche I've ever had, each within a block of the Haab complex! The condo is located at the edge of the Little Italy region of town which was pretty cool. The unit comes with a water dispenser and you can pick up a 5 gallon bottle of purified water from the market around the corner that lasted us the whole week. Just remember to bring the empty bottle with you or they'll charge you a lot more :) We used the water out of the tap for brushing our teeth and washing produce and had no run ins with Montezuma. If you're a couple or a single person just looking to get away and enjoy the freedom to do your own thing, this is the place for you. However, if you are not so much on the adventurous side you might want to go the all inclusive resort route. The owner and the property manager are very responsive and willing to help with any questions/issues that arise. The wifi worked great so you can email them if you need to and they will respond quickly. When I saw all the great reviews on this property, I thought it was too good to be true. I was wrong!

  My husband and I stayed at the Haab for 7 nights. What a clean, spacious, well stocked place to call home. Chris gave us a ton of helpful hints for our stay (where to eat, drink, nightlife, etc). The view from the roof is beautiful. It was a perfect location to experience the beach and the town.

  We had a great time in this adorable studio. The location is really quiet and close to the beach. Chris responded to all of our questions within minutes. I believe this is the best value in Playa. You can't go wrong staying here.
