**WINTER on the Lake is a magnificent time...calm, quiet and serene. Views of Schweitzer Mountain Resort, less than an hour drive away, beckon for world class skiiing. ***
Since the home is newly purchased, most of the furnishings & decor are new and in great condition. The entire house is oriented toward the amazing lake views. It feels as if you are floating above the lake! The kitchen, dining and living area are a wonderful and comfortable area to enjoy the view and relax on comfortable new furnishings. Adjacent is an additional family room (game room) with t.v., dvd, and game table. From this room you can access the backyard where there are two wooden decks nestly in the beautiful tree's. Enjoy a bbq here and a great rest in the shade.
The second story accommedates all the bedrooms. The master bedroom runs the width of the house with a french doors out onto a private deck with lake and mountain views. The additional lake view room has a comfortable full size bed and large closet. The kids bunk-room is filled with toys and books and 2 sets of bunkbeds for all the kids! The fourth bedroom is surrounded by the views of the beautiful back forest that you can view from the comfortable queen bed.
The Lakeside Gazebo is where you will spend most of your time. With a built-in fireplace and comfortable seating this will become your favorite spot. The newly built dock can park up to 2 boats and there is plenty of space for fishing, swimming and lounging. The house has two 2-person kayaks with life vests for your use.
The Lake House is directly across from the Bottle Bay Marina for gas, boat rentals, restaurant, bar, outdoor eating area, and kayak rentals. This is a quick car ride, long walk or fun kayak trip away.

Why the Owner Chose Sandpoint
In 2007, our family took a 2 week vacation in Bottle Bay, ID and it was the best family vacation we had ever had. We have come back every summer since. Even though we stayed in other homes on Lake Pend O'reille, our favorite location was Bottle Bay.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our favorite thing about our home is the amazing sunsets and long warm days. Because the house is west facing (on the Bay) the house and boat dock and swimming area receive full sun from morning until 9pm. Our second favorite thing to do is kayak across the bay to the Bottle Bay Resort & Marina for a late lunch and amazing Huckleberry Margaritas!

My family has had the pleasure of staying at the Bottle Bay Family Lake House in both the summer and the winter. The summer is peaceful and spectacular. The house is amazing. There is enough room for 2 families. We enjoyed the lake with kayaks and were able to rent jet skis just across the Bay. Sitting on the deck and watching the late-night sunsets are my favorite memories. The kids loved jumping in the lake as well as exploring the surrounding areas. There are great hikes within walking distance and the town is very easily accessible. During the wintertime, the mountains were nothing short of amazing. The lake was frozen and we were in a winter wonderland. The house was cozy and warm! We skied at Schweitzer Mountain four days in a row. That resort is the best kept secret! The rates are more than reasonable and the drive is very easy, even with kids. I highly recommend this lake house for all times of the year. We have great memories there!!
