  We must have very different expectations from the other reviewers. This unit is NOT designer furnished. Everything in it is straight off the shelves of Bed Bath and Beyond and Ikea. The sofa is literally a foam pad covered in microfiber. It is furniture you would find in a nice college apartment. We arrived to find light bulbs out, broken patio chairs, no pool towels, and a poorly stocked kitchen. After settling in for a couple of days, I called the owner with my concerns. She sent a handyman the next day to replace bulbs. And he brought me FOUR glad bags for garbage. For a 9 day stay?! Why not leave the box?! When told about the lack of pool towels I was told I could " use the bath towels." I then received an email saying she had shipped some pool towels and they would arrive the day we left. The kitchen is stocked at a bare minimum. No foil, no dish towels, old knives, tired spatulas, no plastic pool cups. One of the dining chairs is ripped with the piping hanging. I walked the handyman through each area of concern, so this will not come as a surprise to the owner. I would not stay here again. My advice if you want to stay at legacy villas is to find a unit on the perimeter of the property- not on the inside. This unit has no privacy as it faces inward into a courtyard. Also, the photos of this villa are deceiving. Since it is an interior, downstairs unit it is very dark. We also endured very noisy upstairs occupants. The small children running and slamming doors was awful. The property as a whole feels like an Embassy Suites type property. This is not an upscale resort setting.

  Owner response: I first learned of the guest's concerns 5 days into the stay. I immediately asked the manager to replenish the supplies requested, also sent in the handyman to replace the light bulbs. Upon my recent visit, I have found two of my patio chairs missing, some broken ones not of the same pattern and not belonging to me were left there instead. I have thrown them out, and bought new ones. I have also found our outdoor dinnerware dwindling, it may be caused by people forgetting to bring them back. New ones were purchased, in the next few months some other items and furniture in the house will also be replaced. I do take the guest's comments to heart, just wish it had come even sooner so more could be remedied. I have spoken to my manager that more attention should be paid to details that would affect the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. Guest satisfaction will remain my top priority.

  Our golfing vacation was a tremendous success due in huge part to the incredible accommodations we found ourselves in on arrival. Each and every facet of the villa was more than expected with attention to detail and making our stay as comfortable as possible. Not only was everything clean and sparkling but whatever small item we required was supplied saving us many expensive and time consuming trips to the market. We made daily use of spa and pool after golf and found it clean and in full operation at all times. In summary I would not only recommend this property to others but intend to return again for our next vacation.

  This is a beautiful condo. It is very spacious and comfortable. WE were there for 2 weeks. THe area is very quiet. We enjoyed rollerblading, swimming, going to the La Quinta market on Sundays. The club house is also great and we enjoyed the gym a few times. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come again!

  Great property and excellent layout! The information provided by the property manager were excellent and we had no issue with access to the facility and property. They photos are great but the property is even better in person! We have two teenagers and a pre-teen and we had plenty of room and space for the entire family! We only wished we would have stayed longer! We enjoyed all of the amenities of the facility and returned home relaxed and restful. We loved this property and would highly recommend it!

  We chose this units from the 80+ Legacy Villas offered on VRBO because of the interior photographs. True to the pictures, the condo is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. Unit was very clean, well maintained. Everything worked. Vivan was responsive and pleasant to work with. Scenery on all sides is good eye candy. A lot of thoughtful amenities, flat screen TV's in almost every room. Music docking station for iPhone. Could have used more towels, and paper towels in kitchen. Floor plan for Legacy Villas a little weird, in that each bedroom has own outdoor entrance and kitchenette type counter. This gives owner flexibility in renting 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, but gives a weird motel-like feel. Still, loved our stay at this property. Would recommend it and we would stay there again. The beauty of the resort, the landscaping, being right against the mountains, all exceeded our expectations. Tons of landscaping and palm trees. La Quinta Resort is practically next door. Nice.

  We LOVE the Legacy Villas-- it is such an awesome vacation for a young family. This is our third time staying at LV and this unit was our FAVORITE! We invited my sister (and her family) and my parents and we all fit very comfortably in this unit (6 adults, and 3 kids). This particular unit has been upgraded with beautiful furnishings. The owners are SUPER mellow and accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights and never left the property-- everything you need is right there. Awesome pools for both kids (the main pool) and adults (the smaller pools). Conveniently located running/walking trails. We bbq'd every night on our patio. FUN TIMES!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I can't say enough about this beautiful condo and what a wonderful vacation we had here. If you are visiting the Coachella festival, the villas are a five minute walk from the La Quinta shuttle stop, so a perfect and convenient location for travelling to and from the festival. It was so nice to come back to the relaxing and quiet house after a busy day at the festival. The condo is even nicer than the photos suggest and it has all amenities you could ask for. Vivian was an extremely helpful and friendly host and gave us some great tips on what to do and where to eat. A visit to LG's Prime Steakhouse is a must, it's pricey so go for a treat but it's worth it! Main Street Bistro in La Quinta Old Town was also very nice. A trip to the Fantasy Springs casino was a fun night out and cost about $30 in a cab to get there. The property was very clean and well maintained and there was easy access to lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The condo was absolutely huge and there was so much room for everyone. The pool is just steps away and there were several around the complex to choose from, including a huge pool at the Clubhouse if you are looking for a more lively pool atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again and can't wait for my next trip!

  I stayed here with my daughter and a friend and had a great time. The house is beautifully furnished and super comfortable. We hung out on the patio several times, which was really nice too. We didn't make it to the pool area, but we're hoping to check that out the next time we stay there. The owner was very easy to deal with, and we already have another trip planned. It's one of the nicest rentals I've stayed at via VRBO. Highly recommended.
