Trade winds Condominium is located in the heart of Orange Beach, Alabama (about 5.5 miles east of Gulf, Shores, Alabama). It sits directly on one of the country's highest rated beaches. It has one of the area's best indoor/outdoor swimming pools and easy access to the beach (with a boardwalk with showers). This condo is also located at a red light which makes getting out into traffic during crowded times much easier. Trade winds is located directly across the street from Adventure Island (go carts, mini golf, laser tag) and Jake's Grill. It is only minutes away from great restaurants, grocery stores, and all the attractions including The Wharf, The Track (go carts), and Waterville USA (waterpark and amusement park). The outlet mall at Foley, Alabama is about 20 miles away.
This second floor unit is elevated enough to provide you with a great ocean view but is only one flight of stairs from the ground level (if you decide not to take the elevator). There are two elevators in this building (located just outside the door of this unit).
This unit has two full bath rooms and ceramic tile throughout. It has a king size bed in the bedroom, a queen size sleep sofa in the living room, and bunk beds in the hallway (sleeps 6). This unit has a 40" Sony LCD TV in the living room and a 24" TV in the bedroom. Both TVs have cable, DVD players, and VCRs. This unit has a washer and dryer and all linens, towels and cloths are provided. Telephone service and wireless internet are also provided. This property also has an outdoor charcoal grilling area.
This condo has it all. It will feel like your home away from home. You will love the view from the balcony.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAD A GREAT TIME. THE CONDO WAS PERFECT. WE PLAN ON GOING BACK THIS FALL FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY. THE WEATHER WAS GREAT EVERY DAY. THANKS TO THE OWNERS BRAD AND LORI WITT. THE PICTURES ON THE VRBO SITE MUST BE OLD BECAUSE THE CONDO HAD BEEN RECENTLY UP GRADED. THE COLORS AND FURNISHINGS WERE BEAUTIFUL. Very clean condo. Every time we would come back to the room, the fresh scent was very pleasing !! The pool at Tradewinds condos is also kept very clean. (Can you tell clean rooms are important to us ?) This particular condo is perfectly located, as it is about 5 steps away from the elevator, around the corner from the stairs. This is the second time we have stayed here, and we definitely stay here again. Loved the two full baths, also. The Condo was very clean and the view wonderful. Exactly what we wanted. Loved the direct view of the Gulf. It is very close to all shopping grocery, restaurants & Walmart. Brad was wonderful to work with always returned calls and emails immediately. We cannot wait to return. We have put a deposit down for 2014. Another plus the pool is heated.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

The owners were great - answered calls/emails immediately. We're giving a rating of 5 because just about everything was very good... but would have liked more kitchen equipment as we wanted to do lots of cooking... but I do understand owners resistance to put in to much equipment that might walk away. We just had some friends bring over a couple things that we needed when cooking dinner. Location was wonderful.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

This condo was GREAT!!! The pictures are true to life and we loved it because it is on the 2nd floor so that if the elevators are slow you can just take the stairs and also that it overlooks the pool and the distance to the beach is so close!!!! Will definitely be going back ASAP!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

My family had a great time. The condo was perfect for a getaway. Everything we needed was provided or easy to access. The owners were easy to work with. We plan to visit again next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

YES!! Clean. Cozy.Breathtaking view of the gulf from the room and very short walk to beach.Centrally located to shops,dining and marinas. Unit had everything we needed. Furnishings comfortable. Tradewinds complex has nice pool, BBQ area, well kept common areas with outdoor shower, easy access to room by elevator or stairs plus carts provided to transport belongings to and from. We would recommend this property and hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Can't beat this price and the Witts are wonderful to work with.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I stayed the month of February and found the condo very nice and comfortable. The location is great and very convenient to restaurants and souvenir shops. The stairs are convenient so you don't have to take the elevator. Pool is great and one of the best during this time because it's heated. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. Weather wasn't the best this year, but I would consider staying again!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

This was the most relaxing mini vacation i have ever been on ! Great place to stay quiet and very nice ! I strongly suggest this place !
