Unit #355, the "Crowd Pleaser" at 81 Jeffrey Lane, Trader's Landing across the street from the Maryland's beautiful Deep Creek Lake and a short drive to WISP Ski Resort right on U.S. 219. This 3,114 square foot home, completed in mid 2003, is centrally located at the Roman Ridge development. It is professionally decorated (be sure to check out the pictures) and sumptuously equipped to assure a memorable escape for up to ten guests.
Enjoy pleasant lake views from two elevated decks, soak in the hot tub, enjoy fun and games in the family room, or sip your favorite beverage in front of the gas fireplace (no wood to carry, instant on and no ashes to clean up). Dell computer and monitor with high speed internet provided at no extra charge. Free in-house wireless service inluded. Bring your laptop or wireless device!
Other features include use of a boat slip just across the street and full-size garage. Five televisions all with cable and DVD, one VCR player, air conditioning, washer and dryer, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, full oven, range, coffee maker, blender, dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and microwave. The large dining room table seats eight with counter and counter stools to seat an additional three guests.
Four bedrooms including: first floor - King with full bath, Second floor - Master bedroom with King, twin sleeper and full bath including a whirlpool tub and seperate shower. Bedroom with two twin -size beds and full bath. Third Floor -Queen bed with full-size day bed and bath with shower. Half guest bath also on first floor. Three bedrooms have remote control color TV. All bathrooms have wall mounted hair dryer.
Game room in basement includes air hockey table and foosball table. A large hot tub is located just outside the game room. The hot tub is professional cleaned and serviced after every guest stay. Full size washer, dryer, iron and ironing board in laundry room.
Trader's Landing with restaurants, sporting goods, and shopping is just steps away from the front door (great coffee and pizza shop)! Wisk Ski Resort is just three miles away. The lake is across the street. A movie theater, restaurants, golf, boat rentals, shopping and more are all less than three miles in both directions. Use of our dock is included with the unit.
We also have a local agency to handle your contract, deposit, check-in and to handle any questions or problems that might come up during your stay.
The base rent is subject to a 11% tax (6% state and 5% county accommodations tax) and an administration fee. The Peace of Mind Protection is a non-refundable fee designed to protect our guests from substantial charges related to damage to the rental home during their stay. The plan excuses you from damages as long as the damages were not willful, wanton or a result of gross negligent behavior (excludes damage by a pet). The Peace of Mind Protection Plan is in lieu of a Security Deposit. We are also pleased to offer CSA Travel Lodging Insurance. Please refer to Customs and Courtesies on the main menu for greater detail of both programs.
Arrivals Beyond 30 Days
Payments may be made by personal check, business check, cash, or credit card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Make payments according to your payment schedule listed on your contract. If all payments are made by cash or check, you may deduct the price rebate from your last payment.
Arrivals Within 30 Days
Full payment is due at the time of booking by cash (U.S. currency only) or credit card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Personal checks are not accepted within 30 days of the arrival date.
Payment Information
Please remember to put your reservation number on your checks. Please mark your calendar with your payment due dates as we do not send out reminders. If any deposit or portion of the deposit is not received by the due date, your reservation may be cancelled and the property released for general sale. A bank fee will be assessed for all returned checks. When you receive your lease agreement, please read the lease carefully, sign both pages and return it along with the other appropriate paperwork within 10 days of making your reservation. Many of you will vacation with other family members or friends, but only one person signs the lease. We hold the leaseholder responsible for all payments, damage deposit (if applicable), and all responsibilities spelled out in the lease.

We booked the home for a winter get-a-way. It had everything we needed. The layout was awesome, the rooms were well decorated, the house was very clean, and it was close to several restaurants and fun activities. We would definitely consider renting this home again.

Had a wonderful time staying there with my 3 sons and husband. I am very picky when it comes to traveling, and cleanliness. I found this home very clean, nicely decorated, well appointed and comfortable. The house had a nice layout and was very spacious but homey. My boys enjoyed playing air hockey and the hot tub. The owners responded quickly to our booking request and everything went smoothly. We look forward to a return visit.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Crowd Pleaser. The layout of the house was excellent for multiple family units and the location put us right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Having a boat dock included with the house was a definite selling point. The amemities and features were just as advertised and we were able to settle into our vacation as soon as we arrived. We really loved being able to sit on the large and inviting deck ro enjoy our view of the lake. Crowd Pleaser helped make our vacation fun for all. I highly recommend this wonderful house.

My family stayed here for a long ski weekend (Jan 2011). First off, the house is very convenient to the ski resort at Wisp. I'm sure it's even more convenient to the lake for those considering a summer stay. It's a great set-up for a large family or two smaller ones, with four bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Our three kids enjoyed the loft bedroom so much, they all stayed in it, leaving plenty of peace and quiet for the adults downstairs. A few small bonuses: 1) the large garage with direct access into the house helps with loading/unloading skis and boots, etc; and 2) the recreation room gives another large space for kids and teens to hang out on their own. Most importantly, the house doesn't have the typical well-worn, rental feel to it. It's very well maintained and stocked with necessities. Also nice to have a diner, pizza place, and sports/ski shop within walking distance. We’ll definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it.

We had a spectacular week here at the tail end of the summer. Centrally located and right by the lake. My wife and I took the main floor master and the kids took the 3 bedrooms upstairs. There is a mini-family room on the 2nd floor where they had a week long Monopoly game and lego building extravaganza. The air hockey table was a big hit. We ate out on the deck. The coffee shop w/ food & ice cream and Brenda's Pizzeria were only a couple of hundred feet away. Kids are lobbying hard for us to take this next year too. Enjoy!

We stayed in this home in January to take our teens on a ski trip. The house was large, beautiful and comfortable. It, and the hot tub, were cleaner than any other house or hotel we have stayed in. The locaion was great and, depsite a big snow, the road was cleared quickly and we had not problems getting in and out. It is central to the ski slopes, theatres, restaurants, night clubs and shopping. Plus the coffee shop, Italian Restaurant, Subway and fantastic outdoor store about 200 yards away from the house were great. We enjoyed it so much we plan to return in the summer and use the dock that is includeded. Highly recommend!
