  Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.My family and I had a wonderful time. My husband and I went to dinner at the crab shack for a dinner without the kids, we had a great time and the food was great. my boys had a super time on their first beach vacation! I am sure we will be back again Thank you

  We were looking for a place to stay for my brothers wedding in Aug 2011.However, Hurricane Irene showed up and forced him to bring his wedding day inland. Kathi, was gracious enough to allow us to move our weekend stay to the next year for a family getaway. We had a wonderful time. It was hard work with a 2 year old and an 11 month old, but we enjoyed and cherished all of the fun they had.Those moments were priceless. Thank you for allowing us to make these priceless memories here!! This was a break that our family needed from the rigors of life. Thanks Again

  Great time with our family of 5! A very relaxing stay, but still things to do in the area for the kids. The condo was very nice and accomodating. It took us about 8 minutes to walk to the beach from the condo with kids. We only used the shuttle the last day (needed the exercise) and they were there immediatly when we called. Pine Knolls Shore Aquarium was a great visit as was the Lost Treasure putt putt golf. Crab Shack was great - I highly recommend the shrimp burger. We went to Cape Lookout and had a fantastic day there. Swimming in the Sound at Cape Lookout was great! My only complaint (if it really even is) is that I was told there would be a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and there wasn't. Good thing we brought some with us after driving 12 hours in the car. Food Lion was very helpful and close by. The kitchen could use some update pots - there was no lid for the largest pot. Very nice place to stay though and we are already looking into booking again for next year!

  Everything was really great at this condo.Very roomy. The view of the sound and the balcony where we ate breakfast were so nice.Loved watching the birds and nature. My mother is 92 so needed the use of the elevator. Her comment was, "this is so much like my retirement home apartment, I really feel at home here.". The beds were very comfortable, which is one of my criteria. We had some DVR problems due to a thunderstorm but the owners fixed it right away. My only suggestion would be to better equip the kitchen. We like to prepare our own meals.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Just returned from this amazing condo. The only glitch we had this week was a severe thunderstorm that hit our first night. Lightning hit close by and fried the tv in the living room. Kathi responded to my email promptly and had an electrician come the next day and a new tv delivered soon after. Not a big issue for us . Who comes to the beach to watch tv? The mattresses are very comfortable and has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. The pool on the ocean is great. Spent some time at sound side pool. Both were well maintained and very clean cool water. Thanks Kathi for the great communication this week. Congratulations on the new grandchild.

  Four of us just returned from a week staying in this condo - K203. If you want a beautifully decorated accomadation with all the necessary ammenities, we would highly recommend this condo. No need to take your own linens, kitchen utensils or cookware, beach chairs or sand toys for the kids - this condo has it all! The location is right in the middle on Salter Path so its an easy drive to restaurants and any stores you may need to shop at. Visit the aquarium, take in a movie, or shop at the mini mall in the evenings. The beach is an easy walk across the street or take the shuttle that this resort provides. Trust me, you will not be disappointed staying here.

  Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful beach condo! We truly enjoyed ourselves.We have own condo at Colony by The Sea but it was rented this weekend.We had a meeting to attend and your place was a perfect getaway.Loved fishing at the pier at the sound and enjoyed the quietness of the area,Very convienient to everything on the island.The porch was one of my favorite place to relax. Thanks again

  This was a last minute family vacation that turned out to be an amazing time full of memories and fun!We felt at home here and truly enjoyed our stay The view is perfect, the location is great and oversll-we are really happy with our stay here at emerald isle. Thanks for sharing
