lovely home within walking distance to the boardwalk, marina, shops & restaurants. many personal touches, definitely perfect for a family of 4, kid friendly, would love to come back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Just like last year, we had a wonderful stay in Grand Haven. It was the perfect location for the Coast Guard Festival and we were able to come and go to events as the spirit moved. Perfect little vacation town, cottage, beach. There is everything here that we love about vacation- plus close enough to drive. About the owner: Liz Swanson...A native of the Chicago area, my family and I moved to Grand Haven 16 years ago and fell in love with the white sand beaches and friendly atmosphere. We knew Grand Haven was the right town for us immediately. We enjoy taking in the beauty of the changing seasons and the variety of outdoor sports and activities! 5-Star Rated Accommodations..... My husband, myself & a couple friends opened the Retreat at 302 in 2006 to offer the type of cottage experience that we enjoy when we travel...the more stars the better!!
Why the Owner Chose Grand Haven:
This downtown Grand Haven location is the perfect mix of close proximity to activities, shops & beaches, but in a terrific neighborhood on a quiet street. We were excited to find just exactly the best combination of premium location and wonderful renovation. We loved the hardwood floors, arched doorway, great floor plan and nice room sizes. (and it was in excellent condition...super clean!)
