Thirty year old, year round home available for weekly rental. The house sits high atop Brier Neck, offering spectacular ocean views from the deck. At night you can see the Gloucester lights, as well as those twinkling along the scenic Back Shore. Short walk to Good Harbor Beach - we highly recomend you be down on the shore at sunset to see something really fabulous! The town of Rockport is right up the road, and Gloucester is just 30 miles north of Boston. You can catch a train to the city for a fun day trip to the city.
The walls of the main room of the home have big windows that slide open and a sliding glass door faces the beach. You will have sunlight and salt breezes filling the house. The sounds of the surf reach the house and will either lull you to sleep or entice you down on to the beach. The back bedrooms are shady, so an afternoon nap is always possible for you or the little ones.

This is a beautiful house that my father built for my aunt in 1966. She retired there and it's always been a family favorite. When she died she left the house to my sister and I. We want to share the beautiful views, ocean sounds, and the lights along the shore.I know anyone would enjoy the calming, serene setting of this lovely house.
