High Pointe Resort is a premier family resort location. The beaches of South Walton County are in the top 10 vacation spots in the world. High Pointe Resort has 680' of gulf frontage, pure white sugar sands and of course our emerald green/blue gulf waters. The resort boasts a 6500 sq. ft. lagoon pool with two islands with waterfalls and lush palm trees. (Check the photos)
Our unit #131 is the closest and most convenient to the pool. It is our special place. We purchased this unit while it was being built because of its location.
We recently redecorated, restored, upgraded and essentially created a new home, Our pride is the new kitchen which has all stainless appliances granite counter tops, cabinets,. The kitchen has tools, gadgets and equipment to please the gourmet chef. The living room features new tropical colors, new wicker and rattan beachy furniture a large flat screen HDTV with surround sound DVD player. This is the beach - not urban penthouse slick. The living room sliding door open to the patio and the 15 ft lawn walk to the pool. You do not have to deal with elevators or trudging around the building. You are at the pool. Our master bedroom is spacious with a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, garden tub, and a sliding door to the poolside patio. The front guest room has a king sized bed and another patio, plus its own bathroom. In between these two rooms is another bedroom and bath with twin beds. Each bedroom has its own private bath.
In the past well over 60% of our renters were repeaters. We must have done something right.
In addition to our world class beaches and pool, we have on-site two clay tennis courts, kiddie pool, kiddie playground, shuffle board, picnic areas with grills, bicycle stands and the list goes on. A board walk takes you to the beach, our tiki restaurant and bar (great food and drink plus the gathering spot for mind-boggling sunsets) and then the fabulous beach. A bonus is the abundance of green space, a rarity at resorts today. This is really a family vacation paradise. The location is very special, tucked between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, two of South Walton's premier resorts. Location, location, location. Shopping is available at nearby specialty shops and boutiques, at nearby Pier Park and at Destin. Seafood restaurants abound, as well as steak houses, family dining and fine dining. Under Entertainment you will find the rest of the attractions.
