Absolute Paradise is in the Holiday Inn section of The Ocean Lakes Community at #1080. It is wonderfully located between the Beach Front and Sand Dollar Lake. Our home is only 5 houses from the Beach and 10 houses from the Sand Dollar Lake! As well, our home is located near the Ocean Lakes Recreation Center and Pool Areas.
Our family purchased this home on February 28, 2013. Currently, we are updating most of the furniture and bedding, as well as having the interior custom painted. Recently, we had all of the exterior completely pressure washed and the exterior stairs, deck, and balcony have been sealed and stained. We also added a new charcoal grill and chairs to the lower ground level, dining table and chairs to the first level deck, and chairs and side tables to the balcony area.
Our home is built on stilts so there is plenty of parking underneath the house for golf cars, small and midsize cars and we have an additional parking space beside the house to accommodate a full size vehicle. This lower level is concrete with some boardwalk and is perfect for lounging and grilling and has a large, fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
Our family vacation home has 5 bedrooms with 3.5 baths. We are able to assist with many convenience options such as Golf Car, Lacks Beach Umbrella and Two Chairs set up and taken down daily on the beach by the lifeguards, Linen and Towel services for a small fee. During June, July, and August we only have weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. Monthly rentals are available Year Round. Minimum 2 night rentals are available during September through May.
This is a FAMILY Vacation Home. We maintain a very strict policy of No Smoking, No Pets and No Groups or House Parties. Our rules are enforced without exception and are not meant to restrict your vacation but to Enhance Your Vacation! We are proud of our home and when we do not have guests this is the home where we stay. Clear and precise guidelines insure everyone has a wonderful place to vacation year after year! We remain in the Ocean Lakes Community so that we are always available to you during your stay.

We had such a wonderful time staying in this house in Ocean Lakes! We normally stay in a high end condo on the ocean....BUT this community was a much nicer family experience. The floor plan of this house easily accommodated two families; 4 adults, two teenagers and three elementary age children. It is so close to the beach! We rented a golf cart (a must) and toured around the campground taking in all of the activities offered. The indoor pool was a great option when we had a little too much sun! The owner was hospitable and very accommodating. It was truly a pleasure from the initial email inquiry to locking the door behind us when we left. We would love to stay in this house in the future!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Our family is from The Piedmont Area of North Carolina and for as long as I can remember we have been vacationing at the beach. All during childhood and as a young adult we rented houses along the coast of North and South Carolina. My husband and I even celebrated our honeymoon in a rental house at the beach. Owning a beach house has always been a dream for my family and for the last 6 years we have been vacationing in Ocean Lakes and looking for just the right house. Finally, we found Absolute Paradise, Ocean Lakes 1080.
Why the Owner Chose Holiday Inn (900, 1000, 1100) Section:
In December 2012 and January 2013 we visiting Ocean Lakes and decided the time was right for us to buy a vacation home. Our Sales Agent, Chuck, patiently showed us probably close to 20 houses. When we walked through 1080 we just knew it was The One.
Family is important to us and we could just imagine hanging out in the open Living and Dining Area eating and watching a movie. As a mom, I stood in the kitchen (where I spend a lot of my time) and I could see all of the Dining Table and all the Living Area and the TV! I was hooked. Not to mention, the Parent's room was privately located downstairs with a private bath. And, there is a half bath downstairs near the Living Area so guests don't have to go into any of the full bathrooms.
It got even better upstairs. There are four bedrooms and two baths. Each set of Two bedrooms share a bathroom in the 'Jack and Jill' style. This is like having a bathroom in every bedroom...no need to have to run through the hall to get to the bathroom. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom access!
The final hook was the Ocean Views! Both Decks have wonderful Ocean and Beach Views and if that isn't good enough, there is even a Lake View! The Lake is just a very short walk up the street and the Beach Access is just a few steps away! Hook, Line, and Sinker!

The Unique Benefits at this House:
The Ocean Lakes Community is a destination in itself. There is plenty to do for families with children of all ages. Planned and well organized activities are coordinated by an Activities Director. There are fishing lakes, indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, splash zone and kiddie pools for the younger kids, arcade, and recreation center with ping pong, and other scheduled daily activities. Also in Ocean Lakes are basketball courts, volleyball, beach front play grounds, skateboard park, miniature golf course, nature center, bocce ball, shuffleboard and beach front observation deck.
Ocean Lakes is a gated community with 24 hour security, three ice cream and food service locations, general convenient store and laundry facility.
Ocean Lakes offers nearly 1 mile of Beach Front and our home is just steps away from it all!
