2009 construction, bright and sunny family home with over 2200 square feet of living space, views of Sengekontacket Pond and beyond that, Nantucket Sound.
Quiet Edgartown neighborhood, a few "blocks" to the bike path, minutes from the shops & restaurants of downtown Edgartown and State Beach or South Beach. Bring a glass of wine and stroll down to the boat landing on Sengy Pond at sunset! Or walk down the road to the Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary, explore the trails, and observe the many types of birds.
Expansive (900 square foot), sunny, wraparound deck for BBQs, morning coffee, and lying in the sun on the comfortable new patio furniture. Lots of big windows let in bright sunshine and ocean air.
Open floor plan. Bamboo floors, travertine tile in bathrooms, all new appliances, Crate & Barrel and similar style furnishings, Corian countertops, and French doors opening from family room to dining room.
House comes stocked with adult bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, pack and play, kids' toys/beach toys, kids' videos, board games, and comfortable furniture. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms will circulate the cool Vineyard breezes.
Master bedroom has new king bed with luxurious new pillow-top mattress, one guest bedroom has new queen bed, other guest bedroom has two new twins, and new sofabed upstairs is a full-size bed. Mattresses are all brand-new.
Kayak or sail on Sengy's calm waters. Access to Sengy, including kayaking, boating and clamming etc is just a quick stroll from the house down The Boulevard.

First time to MV and this house was a great place to stay. The location is perfect, quiet neighborhood, but close drive or bike ride to central Edgartown. View from the top floor in the dining room is beautiful, very nice during the meals. The lack of AC did not bother us, as the breeze was constant and the rooms had fans (we were there in early August). The house is new and in very good shape, new furniture, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances, etc. Top floor is very spacious, and deck outside very relaxing for late afternoon bbq and drinks, plenty of space. The week went by very fast, every day something new to do on the island. Didn't get to kayak in the pond nearby, maybe next time, but did plenty of bike riding (Chappy was the best).
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

We spent a week at this Vineyard home last summer and found it very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The owners are meticulous and every detail was taken care of. The house is a short drive from town or the beach and you can also kayak nearby. Bike trails are everywhere and there are bikes availabel at the house. However, you definitely need a car to get around! Kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings are all new and modern, though not fancy. Good TV and computer hookup available. There is a very attentive caretaker who is responsive if you need anything, as are the owners. All in all, this is a lovely family home, well located on a great island.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Beautiful home. Convenient location. Warm and inviting interior that is tastefully decorated. Everything was clean upon arrival. The sofa bed is on the less comfortable side, but works for kids, and the rest of the beds and bedrooms are wonderful. Maps and local information provided proved to be very useful. Quiet neighborhood without much car traffic. A really nice spot to call "home" while visiting the island.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.
