  This place exceeded our expectations! The house is amazing. Everything is provided by the Myers, and everything is new! Some rentals have cheap furnishings, appliances etc. because they are after all vacation homes and rental properties. Not this place!!!! Top drawer everything!!!!!! From washer/dryer to kitchen appliances, cabinetry, house construction, cleanliness, comfort..... I could go on! The deck is truly amazing! The Myers are such friendly and professional people. Everything was fantastic. We are confirmed for the same week next year already!!! Thank you!!!!

  We had a wonderful get together at this home! It fully accommodated our family of four couples, a single adult and two children. We loved the kitchen! Enough space and equipment for the four men to fix a fabulous Mother's Day breakfast for all of us! The listing description was accurate, the property was well-maintained and the owners were very helpful and prompt in communication with me. We would gladly recommend this property to those we know. THANK YOU!

  We had our kids and grandkids here for Christmas 2011 and everyone had a fabulous time!!! The house is equipped with everything one needs and some!! There are beautiful rooms and views for all to enjoy. The grandkids especially enjoyed the deck and the outside area to run around!! We would love to see the beauty of this place in the summer!!

  This was our first visit to Lake Shasta and we were fortunate to have found the Myers Hillside Hideway for the Labor Day weekend. The home easily accommodated 5 families. Each family had their own room. The home was very comfortable, very clean, and very well taken care of. It had all the modern day amenities required for a great holiday. The deck was also fantastic and made for some great evening outdoor conversations. All details relative to the trip were very well documented and the owners were very responsive to any additional information that was requested. I would highly recommend this place and see many trips to Shasta in the foreseeable future.

  We Have Been Going To Lake Shasta For The Past 15 Years And Have Done Houseboating For The First 10 And Been Renting Houses The Past 5. With Renting Houses We Understand Fully That Pictures You See Online May Sometimes Be Misleading To What Your Gonna Get. This Is One Of Those Times. It Far Exceeded Anything I Could Imagine. The House Had Plenty Of Room For Our Family Of 10 With Everyone Sleeping In There Own Bed. The House Upon walking In Was very Clean And Homey Feeling. The Huge Outside Deck Was Fabulous For Dinners. Except For The Minor Mosquito Bite It was Perfect. The Kids Loved Playing In the Sand Box On the Deck While The Adults Played cards. We Towed Our Centurion Boat Up With Us And rented A Slip For The Week At Antlers Which Is across Highway Approx 5 Min. I Would Strongly Recommend Not Doing This. We Pulled Our Boat Out Monday And Got Another Slip At Bridge Bay And Made The 15 Minute Drive Everyday To It. Well Worth The Extra Time. Antlers Is Just To Run Down. But As For The House No Complaints It Was Perfect And We Will Be back Next Year. Thanks Again Myers......The Carringtons

  My family vacationed at The Myers Hillside Hideway for four days and had a wonderful time. The home is spacious and clean, and its setting in the woods is very peaceful. We enjoyed our meals on the beautiful deck... making it difficult to get up and wash dishes! :-) We docked our boat at the Antlers Resort which was close by, convenient and affordable. Ali and Cory are wonderful owners and I can't express enough how accommodating they are to any travelers needs. My only complaint is ~ I wish we booked it longer!
