‘In the heart of the wonderful Burgundy wine region’ this is a perfect location to visit the town's famous wine houses venturing further afield to discover the Cote de Beaune & Cote de Nuits, taking in the grand cru villages such as Pommard, Meursault, Corton to name a few...
‘In the heart of the house’ you will find an open plan kitchen, spacious lounge overlooking the terrace, and a spiral staircase taking you down to a marvelously restored Burgundy stone vaulted cellar or ‘cave’ housing an additional lounge complete with satellite TV and dining room.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are split over two levels. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor overlooking the garden & terrace, the second bedroom is located on the Mezzanine level 1. Both bedrooms have easy access to adjacent bathrooms which have been furnished to a very high standard, features include: Shower for two, rain showers, Burgundy stone tiling, stone sinks, modern white fittings etc.
Robert, English by nationality, has settled in Beaune and enjoys all of its pleasures from wine, to food, to architecture and so on... We invite you to share these this year with ‘Le Coeur de Beaune’ as your base.

My new husband and I had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful cottege for our honeymoon for six nights. Coming from a 5 day trip to Paris, this peaceful place was just what we needed to relax and really experience the French culture. The owners were fabulous and everything in the home is exactly as shown in the photos. They took such care to all the little details that make a stay memoriable right down to a chilled bottle of wine upon arrival. The location was perfect with a five minute walk to the center of the village or ten minute walk hundreds of acres of vinyards. We were lucky to have very nice weather and took all our meals in the garden which is a mass of colors and scents from the lovely plantings. Even in the showers, the front porch was covered and gave us a wonderful retreat for a glass of wine and listening to the birds. The bed was most comfortable and TV's were everywhere if one has time to watch with all the options for activities in Beaune. We found the village and this cottege to be the best vacation experience we have ever had. We are in our late 50's and traveled extensively but this experience still ranks number one!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
